Chapter 9

~Ren's POV~
After the performance, I ran off, waving as I went. As i descended the stairs, the cheers got louder and louder. I just hope I pleased them, since my sister is much better than me. Yup, Melody's my sister. I was swarmed instantly, as I exited the building. I ran for it, back to the others. When I reached them, I grabbed Tai by the arm and ran, the digi destined following close behind. "RUNNNN!" I screamed, trying to be heard over the crowd of screeching fans.

We headed all the way to Willis' house, before we finally lost them. We went inside, sweating bullets. Filing into the room, I noticed Tai was sweating way less than the rest of us and his eyes were dark and ominous. Like they were dark pits, without a bottom. "T-tai?" I managed to studder out. There's definitely something wrong. He approached me, taking a step in for every step out I took and before I knew it, I was up against the wall. He smirked evilly, unlike his usual happy grin. A dark aura surrounded him and as if by magic, he lifted me by my throat, without touching it.

But I could tell it was him, because he hovered his hand just beneath my neck height and even a small movement tightened the force's grip on me. "H-help.." Was all I could choke out before the digi destined sprang into action. "Hold on Ren!" They shouted. But I couldn't just couldn't hold on. Black spots filled my vision and everything was blurry until I slipped into darkness......
