By the time I had got home my mother was fast asleep and now Im trying to prepare for school as fast as I can so I won't get attacked by a thousand questions. Looking into the mirror I noticed the bump had swelled down a bit, it was still noticeable but it's also fading.

After putting my hair into a neatly done ponytail I throw on a pair of dark blue skinny jeans pairing it with a plain white t-shirt. I slip into my white colored Chucks and swing my bag over my shoulder before running out my room not bothering to close the door.

"And why are you in such a rush?" My moms heels sound throughout the hallway as she leans against the wall bring her cup of coffee to her lips.

"School, you always have to be on time for school mom." I make an excuse hoping she doesn't press the situation any further.

"That is true." I sigh in relief. "But after school I want you home so we can talk about the boy who dropped you off yesterday." I groan throwing my head back.

After that I leave out the house walking down the empty street until I reached the bus stop. Sitting down on the bench I tap against the old painted chipped wood and wait patiently for the bus.

"Is this seat taken?" I hear someone say.

I look to the right side of me and find the boy from the nurses office smiling at me, I shake my head no and push over to give him some space.

"How was the skip yesterday?" He asks referring to skipping school.

"It was fine and pretty much worth it." I admit smiling at the memories of yesterday that pop into my head.

He nods his head in an understanding manner and taps his thigh with the tip of his fingers. The silence is awkward and I'd really like to move and leave at the moment but I have to wait for the bus and the walk is far.

"What made you transfer?" He asks catching me off guard.

"My own personal reasons but also because my mom got transferred here for her job." I lower my head and fiddle with my fingers after speaking.

I for one am not a social person, I'd rather stay engulfed in my bedsheets watching Netflix than go to a party full of sweaty, drunken, most likely high teenagers. Of course there was a time when I was extremely social and loved being out with friends but many things have changed since then.

Saving me from the awkward moment the bus pulls up along the sidewalk opening the doors. Climbing on after Jace I sit down three seats behind the driver on the left side putting my bag next to me so no one would ask me to sit there. Sounds selfish right? It's just being in a small space with another person is uncomfortable to me.

The bus is rowdy and crowded with the boys and girls in the back cursing and raising their voice so the whole bus can hear. I cringe when a paper is thrown up to the front hitting me in the back of my head. I look behind me and glare at the 'kings and queens' of the school feeling challenged.

"Why didn't you say anything?" Elizabeth comes to my side moving my bag so she can sit down.

"I didn't know you were on this bus." I say changing the topic.

"Well of course not, you walked in with your head down so Im not surprised." She says bluntly.

I look to the side ignoring her comment watching the street out the window as we move. It's a bit gloomy outside but you can still see the sun poking out from behind the gray clouds. Sinking back into my seat I wait to arrive at school, though it sounds crazy Im excited.
