Trouble on The Jolly Roger

Chapter 7

Emma sat on her bed and looked out the window. She sat her dinner fast but it was little so she was still hungry and her throat was extremely dry. Someone knocked on the door and came in.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"Names Will Turner love. Thought you could use some water" and he sat down the glass next to her. "I know that Hook can be quite the arse but.." he sat down "well he is honestly. He does get somewhat better"

She smiled and scoffed. "Doubt that"

"Give him time. You'll warm up to him. But for this door locking situation. Here's a key if you want to sneak out during the night or something" he handed her the key.

"Wow..thank you. I thought pirates were selfish asses but I guess not all are" she smiled.

"Are you a selfish ass?" He asked.

"Excuse me?" She asked.

"You're scar" he pointed to the P on her wrist.

"Oh god.." She covered it. "Please don't tell anyone"

"Don't worry I won't. Sadly I have to go. I'll come talk to you again about the necklace sometime if you'd like" he smiled and walked out.

2 MONTHS LATER
Emma and Will have talked a lot. Nothing about the locket. She wanted to get out of this room. She walked to the door and touched the handle. The key. She thought but she couldn't find it so she tried to open the book and sure enough it was unlocked. She immediately thought of Will.

She walked up to the deck and over the ledge. She saw the full moon, the star covered sky, and the reflection of the moon on the ocean. The ocean smell filled her nose and made her smile.

"You love the sea?" He asked. Emma turned around expecting to see Will but it was Hook.

"Uhh..yeah" she said. "Always have..just never been able to go on it before" she didn't know if she wanted to tell him this.

Within hours they were at the top of the top of the ship overlooking the water.

"I've been meaning to ask you something for a while. Besides wanting to be out of the cabin--"

"Yes" she answered.

He laughed. "I was going to ask about your necklace"

"Oh. It's something my parents gave me for my birthday a couple months ago" they both smiled.

"It's lovely. I sadly have to go. Have a lot to do tomorrow. Hope to see you on the deck soon love" he smiled and went to his quarters and Emma went to hers once he was gone.
