Chapter 16

Emma woke up in the middle of the night panting and sat up. All the sudden Hook ran into her room.

"Are you ok? I heard you scream. What's wrong?" He asked you can definitely tell he was worried.

"I screamed? I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to..just a bad dream" she said.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Yeah I think so" Hook nodded and walked out. Before he could Emma woke up again. "Wait...c-can you stay here with me?" She asked.

"Yeah" he nodded. Emma laid back down and Hook laid next to her. "Always" Hook wrapped his arm around her and soon she was asleep and so was he.

They woke up the night morning in the same position they fell asleep in.

"Good morning" he said as she opened her eyes.

"Morning" she said with a slight smile and sat up. "You stayed the whole night?" She asked.

"You asked me to and I did. I want find to leave right after you fell asleep. Not that kind of guy..not anymore" he said. "Meet me in the training room in 10" he said and left.

Emma got up and put her jeans, tank top, and boots on. She headed to the training room where Hook was already waiting for her.

"If Davy is gonna wage war against us we need to be ready" Hook said tossing her a sword. "I know how Davy fights. I'll be Davy you be you. Give it your all" he said.

Emma nodded. Within a heartbeat they were fighting Emma was knocked to the floor with Hooks sword against her throat. "Bam! You're dead. Emma this isn't like any other fight. This will bet the biggest one you will ever have. No holding back"

Hook got up from pinning her. She kicked his kneecap and he fell. She instantly pinned him with her sword against his neck. "I'm aware" she said.

They both got up and continued practicing with the swords. Then it was aim which didn't take to long since Emma had perfect aim.

"Okay. I think you're ready" he nodded.

"Can I tell you something?" She asked.

"Anything" he responded.

"I'm terrified. I thought when I was kidnapped by Davy, when I was tortured, just being in Neverland and a lot of other things scared me..but not as much as this"

"Emma, you got this. I believe in you"

Emma stood up a little straighter. "You're the first person who's ever said that to me"

"It's true Emma. Now..go get some sleep. Same time tomorrow" he said. Emma nodded and left to her cabin. She definitely wouldn't be able to get this day off her mind anytime soon.
