A WEEK LATER
Hook decided to come in and sit in the chair by her ask again and that's what Emma woke up to.

"Hey you" she said.

"Hi" she responded. "What are you doing in here?"

"Making sure you're okay" Hook said.

"Its been a week. I'm fine" she responded.

"Do you want to start practicing you're aim? Or are you still sore?" He asked.

"I'm sore but I'm okay enough to practice" she said and stood up. She was already in jeans and a shirt. "Let's go" she said.

They walked into the training room. Emma's back was still in an incredible amount of pain. Emma took a deep breath and she shot the arrow. It landed on the circle that surrounded the bullseye.

"Damn it" she whispered.

"Emma, you're still in pain. For someone who just went through what you did that's amazing"

"It's not good enough" she said and shot again. It was closer but still not the bullseye.

"Emma hey" he took the arrow and bow out of her hand. "You're doing good. I know the pain hurts but don't think about it and shoot" he handed it back to her.

Emma took a deep breath. She pushed away her pain and shot. Bullseye. She smiled bigger than she has ever done before and hugged Hook. "Thank you" she said.

He hugged her back lightly because of what happened to her back. "Of course. Love I hate to ruin this moment but there's something you need to know.."

Emma's smile faded and she pulled out of the hug. "What?"

"You're father...he uh, Davy got a hold of him...trying to get you back but you're father didn't make the amount of torture Davy did"

Emma held back the tears.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Yeah I'm fine. Let's continue" she responded.

Hook knew she was broken inside but he kept helping her improve her aim for the rest of the night.
