The fam greeted us as we enter the cafe. All smiles and hugs, of course. If they only knew that I was exhausted and not in the mood. Ouu, the food smells good - I thought. "Y'all gon leave us some seats at the end of the table I see?" I jokingly told everyone. I didn't want to sit next to B after what he did, but I guess I have no choice. "Ahemm. ." Marie cleared her throat, "So you not going to come and greet me with a hug nor kiss?" Marie said looking dead at me.

"Oh- I'm -"

"No, don't worry bout' it, you acting funny. ." Marie said rolling her eyes.

I just sat looking away from Marie and tried to find to entry to the ladies room. "I'm going to be right back" I said quietly. I got us and left the table and went towards the bathroom. I stopped the nearest employee to ask for directions. "Just keep straight, and turn right, you can't miss it" The employee told me with a smile. I followed her directions and found my way to the bathroom. I stared in the bathroom mirror trying to find the strength of what is about to be a long day. Jade and Marie entered the bathroom soon after.

"Hey, What's wrong?" Jade said rubbing my back.

I turned to them and lie in their faces "Nothing why?"

"Bullshit!" Marie said. "Did I piss you off? I was joking about-"

"No, Marie, you good. I just have so much on my mind"

"You know you can tell us, soon as you came into the cafe we can tell you was not in your right mind." Jade said looking back and forth at Marie and I.

"Yeah. ." Marie responded

"Can I tell y'all later?" I said trying to not get on the subject

"Alright, but don't hold no secrets, bitch" Marie said jokingly

I laughed "Okay, bitch." We all laughed and headed back to our table. I kept my head down, I really had a lot on my mind. Soon, we made our orders and did a little of chit-chat till the food came. I didn't talk much, I was thinking about how to approach B about not taking his medicine, and from what he did last night, or how he's been treating me for the past few days.

"...Ceedy, remember that?" Javelin (Spazz)

"Remember what?" I said looking really lost

"When I was pregnant...They talking about I was horrible" Jade said agitatedly.

I laughed, "Well you was kind of mean to some people, especially strangers"

Everybody laughed and responded at the same time when I said especially strangers. Eventually, our food came out. "Finally! Fuck, I was about to come back there" Psy told the waiter. "Stop being ignorant!" Marie told Psy. The waiter didn't respond, he just kept a smile and continued serving us. "Where's my baked potato?" B told the waiter. "Um. . let me go check and see if it's ready." The waiter ran off and head to back. "We got everything else, did you order one?" Marie ask B. "That's what my order came with" B told Marie, but the way he responded made everyone at the table quiet. " I was just asking B . . ." Marie responded. I didn't get in the middle of it. "He better hurry up before my food get cold" B was agitated at this point. He sat back into his chair and waited. "Babe just eat the rest of your food, he should be coming" I said trying to calm him down. "I'm not touching shit, till' he come back with my other order!" B was getting pissed off, I can tell. Everyone at the table was quiet and not looking towards our way. I was kind of embarrassed. B was about to get up out his seat till another employee came out with a bake potato and a tray of drinks, which looked absolutely delicious. He slowly sat back down and assured himself into his seat to began eating. " Sorry for the wait, complimentary from the chef and someone from the bar order you three ladies some drinks." The lady sat the cocktails down in front of Marie, Jade and I. The guys didn't say anything, but they were staring towards the bar to see one was admiring us to buy us drinks.
