III | The Prophecy

Annabeth POV

After we saw Nico disappear to the underworld, me and Percy went to the closest bus stop to go as close as we can to San Francisco Bay, California so we can go to camp Jupiter. You might ask us why didn't we use the portal, well it's because we don't want any camper to know where we are so when they need us they couldn't find us.

So we took the bus after convincing him that we already paid (courtesy of my invisibility cap) we took neighboring seats and for the first time in my life a day went by without any monsters so I cuddled beside Percy and leaned my head on his shoulder and slept.

Percy POV

After Annabeth slept I knew that I just couldn't stay awake any longer because I was really tired and depressed, so I decided to sleep, and as usual I had a demigod dream.

I was in the dining pavilion in camp half-blood and what I saw really angered me. Theseus was talking to the campers and told them that he found out that I was a spy for Tartarus and of course everybody believed him so he told Jason, Piper, and Leo to go to camp Jupiter and warn them, then he dismissed them, after everyone left I saw Theseus speak into a bracelet similar to the one Selena had, that is when I learned that he was the spy, and that I should warn camp Jupiter about that.

Then the dream changed into the attic of the big house I saw Rachel and she was looking right at me and said "I'm really sorry Percy, but I couldn't do anything to help you but believe me you'll need eyes and ears in the camp ...", "don't apologize, I know that you're one of the only loyal friends I have" that's when she started convulsing and her eyes turned back into her head and green mist surrounded her and I knew she was going to say a prophecy,

"You shall meet by the darkness of the endless pit,
where the children of wisdom and sea shall sit,
and wait for the corrupted child of the sky to finish the deal,
when two souls be present for the sleeping God to steal,
the fate of gods shall be decided by a child of death who's choice shall end a lover's days,
Olympus to preserve or raze"

After that I woke up wet with cold sweat, and saw Annabeth's grey concerned eyes, so I told her what I saw, and as usual she started planning for everything.
