Percy POV

After I woke up in like 15 minutes the bus stopped in its last stop which was next to the Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada, so now we have to walk the rest of the way.

Thanks to the blessing I got from Hestia, me and Annabeth didn't have any problem with food and drink because whenever I want I can just make any kind of food appear in front of me. "So now what's the plan wise girl" I said, "Isn't it obvious seaweed brain, we go west to San Francisco" she said as if it was an obvious thing, after she said that we started going west with the occasional monster coming in our way.

After 15 hours and 40 minutes

We arrived to the city of Las Vegas, and according to my watch/shield the time now was 4:08, it have been more than three completely restless days and we were really tired, so when we saw the first hotel we went in, it's air conditioning was really pleasant, the lobby was filled with all kinds of arcade games, and the waitresses were serving all kinds of hot seemingly delicious snacks.

Then suddenly a man appeared in our way and said "Here you go, you look really tired you can rest in room 812 if you want, but in the meantime you can use these," he gestured to the cards in his hand "to play in any of the games or dine in any of our fine restaurants free of charge, all you have to do is swipe this card" he finished, "what's the catch" I asked him, for some reason I felt that it was a trap, "what?"

The man looked scared for an instance but then quickly added smiling "oh, you're joking!" he then began laughing "and to calm your mind this card is unlimited, so it never finishes" he finished after he was done from his laughing fits, "Lacy!" He called and after a couple of seconds a gorgeous, tall, blonde woman came to him 'I think she's a child of Aphrodite' I thought silently, "lead these two lovebirds to room 812 and accustom them to some of the hot snacks, also make a reservation for them in the restaurant at 6:30" the girl nodded and gestured for us to follow her she then led us to a room and gave us two flower shaped snacks on our way to the room.

I ate mine almost immediately but Annabeth didn't eat it but actually it looked like she was trying to study it as if she thought that it's not what it looks like. that is what she was doing until the waitress told her that it is impolite to reject it, and insisted that she should try it, so Annabeth did and apparently she liked it. After we arrived to the room all the waitress told us was "Welcome to the Lotus Hotel and Casino" and left.
