"So how old are you? Where did you use to live?" Kylie asked as she grabbed a piece of pizza.
"I'm 16, and I used to live in New York." He answered calmly.
"We're 16 too!" Exclaimed Shay in excitement.
"What grade are you in? Do you have any brothers or sisters?" Kylie continued.
"I'm in grade 11. I have 1 brother and 1 sister." He answered.
"Are you single?" Kylie giggled.
I saw that coming.
"Yeah. I mean, yeah. I just got here." He scoffed looking at the ground.
"Huh." She smiled, "So why'd you mo-"
"Tony, honey. Lets go! We have to finish your room!" His mother called down the stairs.
He stood up and looked at us. Flashing a toothy smile, he waved good bye and walked up the stairs.
"Nice talking to you guys." He said awkwardly.
He walked up the stairs, his scent leaving the room. He smelt good. And he had nice teeth. And his smile.. Oh his smile.
"Oh. My. Goodness." Shay said once he closed the basement door.
"HE'S SO ATTRACTIVE." Melanie exclaimed.
"I like that." Kylie said smirking.
I nodded my head, agreeing with everything everyone said.
"Brooke, you're so lucky. We might have to sleepover more now that he's there." Callie said with a big smile.
"Don't you have that awkward window thing in your room?" Melanie asked, making a square shape with her fingers.
You see, in my room, I had an awkwardly placed window. The window was in the same spot as the neighbors window. If my window was open and the neighbors window was open, I could see everything my neighbor was doing, vice versa. It was kinda like that Taylor Swift music video when they were writing each other note things on the white boards. Like that, basically.
"Yeah, but I doubt his room is gonna be right across from mine." I said, calming them down. "You guys are actually so boy crazy. To think that our conversation started off with, 'boys are stupid.'"
"You know what, whatever. He was hot and we all agree so-" Kylie smirked.
I nodded my head and grabbed another alive of pizza.

"I forgot to get my blanket." I sighed as Shay put the movie into the DVD player.
"Hurry up so we can watch it.." Kylie said as she tucked herself in.
"Just start it, I'll be back quickly." I said as I darted up the stairs.
I ran up to my room and searched for my blanket. It was somewhere in the deep depths I referred to as my room.
"I hope you don't think this is super creepy, but I can see you." Tony's voice sounded close, but not in my house close.
I looked around my room, searching for the blanket with more motivation. Maybe I was just dreaming..not day dreaming.. Night dreaming? Some kind of dreaming.
"Yeah, you think I'm creepy." He sighed, "I'm right across from your window."
"What the-" I straightened myself up and looked out my window.
"Oh. Uh-" he said rubbing the back of his neck.
"Oh." I said realizing that I had a full on face mask which probably looked 10x creepier in the dark at 11 pm. "Face mask."
"I can tell. I have a sister she does that kind of stuff." He said with a grin.
I nodded and leaned closer to my window.
"I probably look like some kind of monster." I said as I let out a little giggle.
"Not really." He said leaning out of his window.
"You know what, I should really go." I said looking at my digital clock, "my friends are downstairs and.. And yeah. I gotta go."
He smiled and waved at me. I proceeded to close my window and close my curtains.
I walked down my stairs with a huge smile on my face. Once I reached the basement, they all put their attention towards me.
"Did it really take you 15 minutes to get a blanket..?" Kylie asked awkwardly.
"Uh. Wait what?" I asked.
"Where is your blanket?" Melanie asked and she shoved popcorn into her mouth.
"I.. I remembered that we have some in storage." I replied.
"Oh, okay." Shay said.
They all directed their attention back to the movie playing on the TV.
"We're you talking to Tony?" Whispered Kylie.
"Uh, yeah." I replied quietly.
"I knew it." She smirked as she redirected her attention to the TV.
I stared at the TV not even paying attention to the movie.
All I could think of was that smile and those deep brown eyes.
