I tucked myself into my bed and turned towards Callie who was on the opposite side of me.
"Do you think we'd have a chance?" I asked with a sigh.
"You and I?!" She exclaimed, freaked out.
"No! Tony and I! I don't roll that way, girl." I laughed.
"Right.. Of course you guys would have a chance." She smiled.
"I want a legit answer. Not a friend answer."
"I think y'all would. If you just ignore what people say."
"What do you mean?"
"People are obviously gonna hate on you." She pointed out.
"Right." I sighed.
"But, it's never a good love story if there aren't any twists." She winked.
I nodded my head and smiled, "Thanks Callie. Really."
"That's what friends are for." She grinned as she began watching videos of 5SOS.
I turned around and looked at the buzzing phone in my hand. Tony's name popped up three times in a row, then my phone was finally at rest.
Tony: hey.
Tony: I was thinking about the trip and stuff. I'm excited.
Tony: you're probably with your friend, so you don't need to reply.
Me: nah, we're just chilling right now. Just talking and stuff.
Tony: oh, that's cool.
Me: yeah. So what are you doing??
His replies were almost instant. As if he was staring at his phone waiting for me to reply.
Tony: nothing. Just about to go to sleep.
Me: oh, I guess you should sleep now!
Tony: maybe later. I'd much rather stay up and text you :)
Me: cute. But legit, sleep!
Tony: okay, fine.
Me: good night Tony! <33333 (:
Tony: good night Brooke:)
The smile on my face was plastered on it. No matter what I did, the smile wouldn't go away.
Maybe Callie was right. I did have it bad.
