I sat in the chair in front of my desk as I applied my daily makeup. Everyday was the same, basically.
"Foundation," I whispered as I painted the skin tone colored substance on my skin. "Concealer." I continued. "Curl the lashes." I said as I placed the contraption on my eyelashes. "Eye liner.. Mascara. Done."
I looked in the brightened up mirror on the desk and stared at my eye brows and lips. "Not so done..." I sighed, "eyebrows? Leave them? Darken them? Leave? Darken? Leave." I nodded as I closed the eye shadow section of my makeup organizer. "Lips. Red? Pink? Nude? Stain? Gloss? Lip stick?" I reached over to the dark, lip tone pink lip stain and applied it to my lips.
Pleased with my face, I headed to my closet and began rummaging through the piles of folded clothes.
I decided to wear my 'infinity love' shirt from Brandy Melville and my jeans from pacsun. I topped it off with a black slouchy cardigan and my maroon doc martens.
"Straighten? Curl? Bun..." I thought as I looked at my heat tools.
"How much time do you spend on yourself in the morning?" A voice from across my window hollered. "Seriously. All I see is your shadow running back and forth in your room."
"You're a guy, so you'd obviously not understand." I replied rolling my eyes.
"Why don't you not wear make up to save time...?" He asked hesitantly.
"Because I'm unattractive without it." I scoffed as I sighed.
"I've seen you without makeup. You're everything but unattractive." He smiled.
"Stop." I giggled as I backed away from the window.
"Why? Is it some kind of girl thing to bag on yourself all the time?"
"What do you mean...?"
"You guys constantly-"
"Brooke! Come on!" My mom interrupted.
"I didn't get to do my hair. Damnit.." I whispered under my breath as I packed my backpack with my books and pencil case.
"Looks fine to me." Tony exclaimed as he closed his window.
-
"I like this hair style your rocking.. It's like beach chic." Melanie smiled as she played with my hair.
"Didn't get to fix it at all." I sighed. "I was talking to Tony and I guess I didn't pay attention to the time."
"I think it looks fabulous. Like a beach hair, careless kind of hairstyle. I like." Kylie smiled.
"Kind if reminds me of what bed hair would look like.. Ja feel?" Alissa smirked.
"Of course you of all people would say that." Melanie sighed.
"So how's Tony?" Kylie interrupted.
"Good I guess. He was telling about how girls constantly bag on themselves.... Like uh.." I replied.
"Really? I honestly thing y'all are so cute like ahhhhhhhhh!!!!" Melanie screamed.
"Talking about low confidence isn't cute." I sighed in sarcasm.

I sat beside Tony during LA class. We were discussing Romeo and Juliet.
"So if you were in Romeo's shoes, would you kill yourself if the girl you liked was dead." I asked.
"Well, I gotta love her. She's gotta be pretty damn special for me to do that to myself." Tony replied.
"Obviously."
"How about you?"
"Probably not. There are a lot of fish in the sea... I guess."
"Even if you loved him?"
"It's a new age." I smiled as I tapped my pen on the desk.
"I've heard that this town has a milkshake place that's really good." Tony stuttered.
"Yeah. It's called Mooolkshakes." I replied, "it's like a 10 minute walk from where we live."
"Oh, cool." He nodded, "is it usually busy?"
"A decent amount. The milkshakes are really good though. It's worth the wait." I said as I drew swirls on my note filled paper.
"I see.." He said looking at me, "so do you.. Like milkshakes?"
"Yeah, sure. Who doesn't?"
"Okay, okay." He nodded. "Do you think Romeo and Juliet wanted to go on certain dates?"
"They had to hide the fact that they were together. They were lucky to even breathe the same air." I giggled
"That's true.."
"If I were Juliet, I'd want Romeo to buy me food and sit with me in a field or beach and just eat there." I confessed.
"You do realize that this was set in like the olden days."
"Well, yeah.. Obviously." I sighed. "Do you need my note paper? You hardly have anything."
"Uh, yeah sure." He smiled.

I laid in my bed after the long day of school. I fiddled on my phone, tweeting and texting. I showered once I got home due to the fact that running in gym class made me want to cry. Too much sweat.
Suddenly, Tony sent me a text.
Tony: did I leave my notes with yours?
Me: probably not.
Tony: can you check?
Me: why do you even need them?
Tony: please.
Me: okay whatever.
I rummaged though my bag, and looked through my notebook. I flipped through all the pages, examining each.
Me: I seriously don't have your notes.
As I closed my notebook, I noticed a folded piece of paper tucked into the back.
"What is this?" I whispered, as i grabbed the paper and put my notebook aside.
Slowly, I unfolded the paper. I hesitantly flipped it over to reveal message.
'I got food, but I don't know the town well enough to know any beaches or fields. I guess you'll have to deal with my backyard for now.'
I quickly jumped towards my window, and slyly looked through trying to be unnoticed. There Tony was, sitting in his yard with two milkshakes and food.
