Stella's Pov:

Sitting by Ty, we're both looking over at Anne. She's always quiet. And she always seems to be scribbling or doing something on this notebook of hers.

Or so I've noticed for the past week I've been here at school.

Yes, Ty and me are stil friends. I know, I was surprised too.

But anyways, we've been looking at this Anne girl because Ty keeps on insisting I got talk to her since I don't have any other friends besides him. Anne had emerald green eyes, medium length blonde hair, and she would always just wear sweat pants and a hoodie.

She was actually really pretty once you came to think about it, but I guess her shyness just kind of ruined it for her you could say...

"So you don't wanna hang around me anymore? I see how it is Phillips." I said, using his last name instead of his first. I figured out that calling him that ticked him off so I teased him about it all the time.

"No, it's not that. But she seems lonely so I thought maybe you could be friends." He said defensively, and I giggled at his reaction.

"Ok, ok. I'll be back." I said, getting out of my seat and ask her if she wanted to join us in lunch.

I walked over to her and sat down next to her.

She turned to face me and quickly closed her notebook.

"Hi." I said, smiling widely to be friendly.

She gave me a small, shy smile back.

"Um, hi." She said quietly.

Man, this girl was even more shy than I am and I've never had a friend...

"Do you wanna come sit with us?" I asked her and she frowned.

"Us? " She asked and I smiled at her and pointed to Ty, who waved lightly at her.

She smiled back at him and a bit of blush appeared on her cheeks.

I raised my eye brow.

"Why are you blushing?" I asked her and she looked surprised at how straight forward I was being.

I was surprised at myself too...

"Oh, um...well like, cute guys don't ever wave at me. Actually, forget cute. NO guys ever wave at me at all, and Ty is one of the guys all girls swoon over so I guess it just feels kind of weird to actually be noticed." She said, and I gave her a small smile.

She reminded me of myself.

"Can um...can I ask you what's in the notebook?" I asked her and then she bit her lip before answering me.

"I write poems, and draw in it." She admitted and my eyes widened.

I looked over at Ty, who was still waiting for me.

I gave him a hold-on-a-second-I'll-be-right-there look. He just nodded and went back to eating his green apple.

"Oh my gosh..." I whispered.

"What?" She asked me.

"You just remind me of myself  a lot. I had a notebook where I wrote poems, and drew in it all the time. I was quiet and didn't have any friends before I moved here. You're like my long lost best friend!" I said and she smiled widely.

"So are you coming?" I asked and she nodded.

"Okay." She agreed and we went to sit by Ty again.

'Hi there Ty." I said.

"Hi. Again." He said and we both turned around to see Anne staring at us with her big green eyes.
