Stella's POV:
"The forest?" Harry asked, and I laughed.
"Yes. Just go where I say. Now let's get out of here." I said and we both walked out of the apartment.
We got inside his car and he started driving.
"Alright now go to the left." I said.
Harry nodded.
Just as he was about to turn, I yelled.
"No! The other left you idiot!" I said and he started laughing.
"Sorry sorry." He said, still chuckling a bit.
I continued to give him the directions until we finally reached our destination.
He looked around, his eye brows furrowed in confusion.
"What's so great about this place? I don't even see how you find a proper way through this place." He said and I smiled.
"Just follow me."
We walked a bit more and suddenly i found the entrance.
I felt a strange kind of happiness come over me.
And I really do mean strange because it was a mix of happiness and sadness.
I don't really know. It just made me feel like home even if I never really liked home.
"How in the world did you even find this place?" Harry asked.
"Long story. But I honestly don't know. I had a hard time finding my way out.." I said, stepping a foot into the forest.
"Wait, are we just going to randomly walk in there?" Harry asked and I raised an eye brow.
"Why wouldn't we?" I asked.
"I don't know. There might be bears or wolves." He said and I rolled my eyes.
"The worst you'll find in here is a squirrel with a disease." I said nonchalantly and his eyes widened.
"What?! I don't want any squirrel diseases!" He said and I rolled my eyes again.
"Will you shut up already and come with me?" I told him.
He laughed.
"Alright I'm coming."
We walked into the forest and I grabbed Harry's hand so he wouldn't get lost.
Being the child that he is, I feel that it is a possibility for him to do such thing.
We kept walking until I finally heard that familiar, peaceful sound.
I smiled widely.
"Wow what's that sound?" Harry asked.
"Shh we're almost there!" I said, not being able to hide my excitement.
We walked just a bit more and then I saw it.
My eyes widened.
"W-what happened?!" I said, not being able to believe what I was seeing.
I looked at the place and anger took over me.
"What's wrong?" Harry asked, clearly confused.
"Look at this place! It's full of trash and soda cans all over the ground!" I said, frustration in my voice.
"Isn't that what happens?" He asked, as if it was no big deal.
"N-no. No one ever came here before, just..."
"Just what?" Harry asked, raising an eyebrow.
Suddenly, realization hit me.
Those two guys I saw once, here at the waterfall. They must've done this!
"I can't believe it! How dare they?!" I yelled at nothing.
"Hey hey calm down. We can clean this up." Harry said, taking my hand in his.
He started rubbing my hand with his thumb and I suddenly felt calm.
I looked up, just to find him staring intently at me.
His green emerald eyes looking straight into my green dark ones.
"It'll be okay, alright?" He whispered, so quietly I almost couldn't hear him.
I got the feeling he wasn't only talking about the trash.
I breathed in, finally noticing I had been holding my breath.
"O-okay. Let's just uh pick all of this up and then we can talk I guess. I mean you don't have to h-"
"Shh." He said, a smile spreading across his face, revealing his dimples. "I'll help ya."
I smiled.
We picked up all the trash and threw it in a bag we had found on the ground.
After we were done, we both sat against the tree I always sat against.
It was weird.
It was weird because the last time I had been here, was the same night I had found out about Jane. A night where my world was empty. I had no one.
And now here I was, with a world-wide international popstar. Harry Styles.
He somehow managed to barge into my life, and even though I didn't want him too at the beginning, I'm glad he did.
"You know, I understand why you came here so often. It's so calm, quiet and beautiful." He said, looking at the waterfall.
"Yeah, it is." I admitted.
"I think you should know something Stella." He said, quietly.
"Hm?"
"I uh...I think I like you." He said.
"I like you too Harry." I said, letting out a giggle.
"N-no, I mean, like like you." He said, somewhat stuttering.
I felt a weird feeling in my stomach.
Almost the same churning feeling I got when Ty and I almost kiss in the car.
