Italic is the videos.

"and here's our little baby girl Maxine Diane Wells." Dad's coe come from the TV as we start the videos. Leah, Sam and I are on the ground, leaning against the couch, Kyle getting a drink from the kitchen and Mom and Dad are sitting on the couch. Andy went to get some snacks for our video binge, saying we can start it without him. "three hours of labour and yelling later, here's our precious baby girl." Dad rubs the top of my head.

"more like three hours of hell." Mom comments. "we love you Maxine." it shows my cute, little, baby face, still white with what ever the fuck that is still on my face. "you're our mericle baby." it skips ahead to some streamers and shit.

"it's our baby girl's first birthday." Dad cheers, making one-year old me laugh. "say, Dada." he prompts.

"Mama." I cheer. "mama, mama, mama." I chant, seeing as it's the only word I know. Mom comes in. Kyle comes in from the kitchen and sits between my legs, resting his head on my shoulder.

"she's always going to be a mama's girl." she scoops me up and blows a rasberry in my neck, making me giggle. "aren't you sweetheart?"

"Mama." I cheer again.

"traitor." Dad mumbles. "we love you Maxine. happy first birthday." he moves the camera so all three of us are in the frame.

"dada." I laugh, making both Mom and Dad look at me in surprise. "dada." I cheer again, a giant grin on my face as he takes me from Mom's arms.

"my baby girl." he kisses my forehead. "I love you." it skips agian to a short video of me on the ground. it seems to be filmed from around the corner. I'm bawling my head off, wanting someone to pick me up.

"you were 20  months at this time, still not walking so we left you alone so you would." Dad informs. soon my crying dies out and I look around for something to grab. I crawl over to the couch and grab the fabric so I can stand.

"look, honey, she's doing it." Dad of the past whispers to Mom of the past. I teeter on my legs until I gain balance. one step. two step. blam. I fall on my ass. instead of crying, I go back to the couch and try again. "she's one smart cookie." dad mutters. my last attempt, before Mom picks me up to kiss me, I got five steps away from the couch. "who's our smart little baby girl?" I giggle, lightly hitting Dad's face. it freezes on a frame of me smiling, baby front teeth and tear stained cheeks.

"next episode of Throw Back with Max." Leah laughs.

"the next tape is when we found out we were pregnant with you, Leah." Mom informs. I pop it in and play it.

it opens with a frame of my mom smiling like a maniac, holding up a white, plastic stick. "what's the news honey?" Dad asks.

"we're having another baby." she sort of squeals. little me comes running in, inturrupting their sentamental moment. "aren't you suppose to be in nap time missy?" Mom laughs, picking me up.

"I hungry." I do the sign language sign for food.

"do you want Macaroni and Cheese baby?" I nod as she goes to the kitchen. "guess what Maxine." Mom prompts as she puts me in my high chair.

"what?" I strain to look at her over my high chair. she comes over with a baggie of cold Mac and Cheese.

"you're getting a sibling." I look at her as if she's crazy.

"sister?" I ask. "where?" I look around for baby Leahann, when we didn't even know what gender she was yet.

"or a brother, and they're in my tummy." I poke at Mom's still flat stomach.
