Rachel POV
It's almost time for regionals and I'm so excited. I really think we could actually win this year. I mean we are amazing. I hope I don't jinx it but I'm just so excited, but I'm also scared because the baby's due near the date of regionals. I just hope I don't have the baby on stage!

I was walking with most of the glee group when Quinn rushes to us

"Guys, it's an emergency, we need to go to the auditorium, now" she says anxious

We all get nervous and follow her close behind. They're a little too fast for me so I waddle close behind with the assistance of Finn. He's been so kind. Anyway back to rushing.

Rachel POV
I walk in and I see our rivalry team on our stage. They're all in blue jackets and the girls are wearing blue dresses. Love the dresses, hate them. A curly haired kid begins

"The show choir blogs have been buzzing about your team toppling us at regionals this year, and we just wanted to show you a little something we prepared a couple days ago."

Then they all get into positions as the intro to Another One Bites the Dust plays. We just stand there in shock as they sing spectacularly. They finish and leave us speechless. We all head to the choir room. Some consoling one, others too stunned too speak.

"It's Carmel High tradition, they psych out the competition a few weeks before the show, they call it a funk-ification, meaning they show us what they've got and we spiral into a deep dark funk" Artie explains sounding more morbid then the last word

"Yeah we use to do the same thing to the other football teams, pull pranks, try to get inside their heads, you know stuff to intimidate them" puck added

"Yeah except our football team sucked, those guys were golden" Finn counters

We all walk in the choir room as Kurt says

"Come on guys it's going to take more than that...to get us...into a funk..." Kurt trailed off as we saw our toilet paper filled choir room

We started cleaning up the paper. There was a lot of it. Mr.Schue walked in and helped us as we all seemed so depressed.

"It's just a little prank, and the fact that they did this means we got them spooked" mr.schue told us

Mercedes walked over covered in toilet paper

"Nu uh Mr.Schue, they aren't afraid of anything, that number they did was fantastic" she says putting toilet in the trash can "which doesn't make sense, how did they get all that equipment?" Mercedes asked confused

As if on cue sue walks in. She had students carrying in one of her precious trophies. She was motioning them to the wall

"Oh simple I gave them all keys over the weekend," she says walking in then she says
"I want you to punch out that wall right there" she pointed to a wall space

Mr.Schue looked so annoyed

"Sue what are you doing?" Mr.schue asked

"Glee clubers, listen up, for those of you whose hearing hasn't been damaged by massive doses of accutain, listen up, in a few weeks glee club will be over," sue starts causing us to roll or eyes. As if she doesn't tell us enough

This sets off mr.schue because he goes up to her

"Hey sue can I see your trophy" mr.schue asked

She looks at him then back at us and smirks

"Sure buddy, hope and dream" she says as he smashes it to the wall causing it to shatter and making us all jump

"You dropped your trophy sue" mr.schue says

She just smiles

"You know trophies are like herpes for me, you cans try to get rid of them, but they keep coming back" she smiles and leaves

Rachel POV
For the rest of the class time everyone is in such a funk. Mr.schue speaks up writing regret on the board

"Regrets, we've all had them, like me, I just finalized my divorce and I look back and regret letting her put me in such deep funks" mr schue explains

"Besides totally creeping us out, what's your point?" Santana said unamused
"We've all had regret, so give me a couple" he says

"I regret wearing the same outfit twice in a week" Kurt starts
"Thinking trust me was a reliable birth control" I add
"I regret, the baby I threw out the window once" Britney says

We all pause and look at her, them mr.schue continues

"I guarantee that we are all going to regret letting vocal adrenaline get us in a funk, so this week your assignment is to come up with a funk number" Mr.Schue finishes

The bell rang. I already have a song in mind.

Rachel POV
We all shuffle in and take a seat. My big stomach makes me waddle now and it's so frustrating. But my song is going to explain it all.

"Alright take it away Rachel" mr.Schue interrupts my thoughts

I cautiously get up

"For some people, simply getting to class is a struggle, walking down the halls, oppressed by the man" I say and Mercedes mumbles "oh she is not about to go there" I look at her and continue "hearing people calling you fat, but you have too stop, and hold that precious life and say no" I say as they walk in to help me with my song

"Uh, who are all these people?" Mercedes asks
"We are the unwed mothership community" I respond as the music begins

This is a man's world, this is a man's world
But it wouldn't be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl

You see, man made the cars to take us over the road
Man made the train to carry the heavy load
Man made electric light to take us out of the dark
Man made the boat for the water, like Noah made the ark

This is a man's, man's, man's world
But it wouldn't be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl

Man thinks about our little bitty baby girls and our baby boys
Man made them happy, 'cause man made them toys
And after man make everything, everything he can
You know that man makes money, to buy from other man

This is a man's world
But it wouldn't be nothing, nothing, not one little thing, without a woman or a girl
He's lost in the wilderness
He's lost in bitterness, he's lost lost

I finish and have a straight face as I look at everyone's faces. They all slowly get up and hug me. I just stand there and let them. I can't believe I'm almost due, and I hope this song has showed them how difficult these past months have been. I know I sound selfish but, I feel so alone, no one knows what I'm going through and it's horrible. Well, there is one person, but I prefer not to seek advice from them.
