Forever and Ever

Chapter 24

Beca's POV

I'm really shocked how well I'm holding myself together. The old me would be crying my eyes out. But, no. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? I drive Chloe to the hotel room so I can wrap her up.

"Thanks for saving me, Chloe." I say, starting to wrap her side.

"I had to." she says with a smile. "I can't go on with out you."

"Same." I say with a smile.

"You know, Bec, now that we're graduated, I feel like it's time for me to find a job." she says once I'm done. I sit on the bed with her and nod in agreement.

"I already have that recording job." I say with a smile.

"I know, Bec. The thing is, I got offered a job." she says.

"Well, that's awe-"

"In the U.K." she says, cutting me off. "They want me to tour the U.K. and teach music to younger kids."

"That's-"

"If you tell me not to, I won't go." she says. Everything kinda slows down. It's kinda like an important decision in Life Is Strange.

On one hand, if I tell her to go, she'll have an amazing job and inspire people all around and bring happiness to the U.K. and everyone in it.

But, if she does go, it'll leave me all depressed and stuff.

What do I do?

"Well Bec?" she asks.

"I think that you should take this opportunity and see where it goes. It could lead you into great jobs and success."

"But, I told you n-"

"You were just looking out for us. Both of us. Right now, I'm looking out for you."

"But, what about us?" she asks, holding my hand.

"I don't know how we're gonna work. With me being in the States and you being in the U.K., it's gonna be hard." I say, interlocking out fingers.

"So, what do we do?" she asks. We stand up, and I hand her the suitcases that she hadn't even bother to unpack.

"You get on that plane, I go to the States." I say, walking out the door with our suitcases. We walk to the airport where DSM, The Bellas, and The Trebles are waiting.

"What are you guys doing here?" she asks with a smile.

"You didn't think we were gonna let you leave without saying goodbye, did you?" Junk asks with a laugh. We all share a big group hug, then sit down. We don't say a word the whole time. We just hold hands.

"Flight 108 to the U.K. boarding now." the intercom says. Chloe and I look at each other. We stand up and walk towards the gate.

"Beca, what will we do about our relationship?" she asks me, tears forming in both of our eyes.

"I don't think it's gonna work. Ya know, long distance." I say, shrugging my shoulders.

"Then, it's the end?" she asks.

"I'll tell you what. After the 3 years you'll be gone, if you haven't moved on, and I haven't moved on, and you still want to be in a relationship, and I still want to be in a relationship, then I will happily get back together with you." I say, holding both her hands.

"And if not?" she asks.

"We'll always be bestest friends." I say with a smile.

"Last call for Flight 108." the intercom says.

"I love you." she says while hugging me.

"I love you too." I say. I look up and kiss her. It's the best kiss I've ever had. And then she left. Walking down the tunnel. When she walks away, I count the steps that she takes. Can't you see how much I need her right now?

Cuz when she's gone, the pieces of my heart are missing her.

When she's gone, the face I came to know is missing too.

When she's gone, all the words I need to here that always get me through they day, and make it ok.

I miss her...

But, I will always love her. Forever and Ever.

End of Book 1.

That's write! I will be making a Book 2 of Forever and Ever! I just don't know the title or how I'm going to write it. I don't even know the entire plot.
