Chapter 7

Chloe's POV

When we got back to Barden, I realized Beca fell asleep. I carried her bride style into her dorm.

"Thanks Chlobird." She mummers groggily. I smile and lay her down. "Can you, um, stay with me tonight?" She asks. Inside my head: YASSSSSS! In real life:

"Sure thing." I get in her bed as she lays her head on my shoulders.

"You know. If they can find a cure in less than three months, I could live." She says.

"Let's hope for the best." I say as we go to sleep.

I woke up with Beca next to me. "Mornin Bec." I say. I kiss her forehead as her eyes flutter open. "We have rehearsal today." I say.

"Yep." She says as she gets up. I cover my eyes as she changes. "Ok, you're good." She says. She has stretchy pants, a #Bellas4Lyfe custom shirt, and converse. "Cool shirt, right?" She says. I nod as she turns around. On the back it says #Bechloe4Lyfe.

"Awww. That's sweet Bec." I say as I hug her. "Alright, let's go tell Jesse about us."

"Who?"

"Jesse. Your ex boyfriend." I say.

"Sorry, but when you're around, I forget about everyone else. All the drama and other people in my life just disappear and only you are there." She says. Inside, I felt like crying in joy. "Ok, let's go." She says as she takes me hand. The walk down there is pretty quiet. When we do get there, Benji is outside.

"Ah, Bechloe prevails." He says.

"What?" Beca says.

"All the Trebles were seeing if Jeca or Bechloe would win. I totally won." Benji says as he opens the door. "Guys! I win!" He says.

"Yes! Bechloe for the win!" A new Treble, Viktor, says.

"Bec? Is that true?" Jesse says.

"Jesse, I'm sorry. I just, really, am, in love with Chloe. You were the best boyfriend I had. But now, it's me and Chloe." Beca says.

"Look, Bec, I honestly, was voting for Bechloe." Jesse says.

"What?" Beca and I both yell at the same time.

"Well, Chloe was always into you. I could tell that. But the way you looked at her wasn't the way you were looking at me. I just want you to be happy. And if Chloe makes you happy," he says as we look at each other, "than I'm happy too."

"Jess, I'm glad you understand." Beca says as we walk out. "That went better than I thought." She says with a slight laugh. I put my arm around her and hug her tight.

"Bec, I love you so much." I say.

"I love you too." She says as we arrive at rehearsal. "Ok, I gotta pee. I'll be back." She says as she jogs off.

"Chloe! Come here!" Stacie says. I go over where all the Bella's are talking. "I think you should take a solo and dedicate it to Beca. She won't preform this week. The doctor said she should rest this week anyway." She says.

"Ok. Can I pick the song?" I ask.

"Well," Cynthia says "If you wanna take time to th-"

"Avril Lavigne, When You're Gone." I say fast. They nod as Beca comes back.

"So, I can't really preform this week so, Chloe, you're in charge. I'll be in my dorm watching The Breakfast Club. Call me if you need me." She says as she kisses my cheek and leaves.

"Ok, so we should get started." I say. We stared with Don't Wait by Joey Graceffa. That was mainly for all of us. Then Every Time We Touch by Cascada. That was for the lower girls. Then, it was me. We got slow as I started to sing. Half way through, I got really emotional, but it worked with the song.

"Chloe, that was really emotional. You think you can pull it off this weekend?" Cynthia asks.

"I know I can. For Beca." I say.

Beca's POV

I can't believe I'm so lucky to have Chloe Beale as my girlfriend. My door flew open where Dan stood there.

"Hello, Beca." He spits. I really wanna piss him off right now.

"Hey Dan. Could you come back in 45 minutes? I'm watching a movie." I say.

"No." He says as he pulls out a gun. He shoots it right by my head. I open my window and jump onto a tree. I slide down and start running around campus. I run into Viktor.

"Beca? What are you doing here?" He asks. His Russian accent is pretty thick.

"Dan has a gun. Help me!" I say. I hide behind his back as Dan goes up to Viktor.

"Hey big man." He says. Viktor is very muscly, not like a young Treble. "Have you seen that bitch Beca Mitchell?" Viktor grabs Dan by his shirt collar and lifts him three feet in the air.

"Do not talk about Beca that way!" He yells.

"Beca? What's going on?" Chloe yells. I turn around and see all the Bella's running my way. "Kimmy Jin said something was wrong." Dan points the gun at me. He pulls the trigger but Viktor stuck his arm out. "Call 9-1-1!" She yells. Dan runs away as Viktor stands up.

"How are you standing!" I yell.

"Back in Russia, I was strongest man in school. And I broke my arm once, so there's still some hard metal in there." He says as the paramedics arrive. I walk back to my dorm, LOCK EVERYTHING, and go to sleep, dreaming of Mrs. and Mrs. Beca and Chloe Mitchell.
