Forever and Ever

Chapter 23

Chloe's POV

I woke up to the sound of a knock at the apartment door. I'm the only one up, that I know of, so I get up and look through the whole in the door. It's Benji, The Trebles, and Aubrey. I let them in and tell them to be quiet.

"Emily sounded nervous on the phone. Is she ok?" Benji asks, quietly shutting the door.

"You're life is in danger. So is Viktor's." I say, handing them a paper that I copied the list down onto. They all start to read it, and Aubrey buries her head into Viktor's shoulder. Benji simply nods.

"I don't stand a chance." he says, looking down.

"You do. You're stronger than you want to believe." I say. He looks up with a small smile.

"How should I surprise Emily that we're here?" he asks. I smile, thinking of the perfect scene.

"Trebles and Aubrey, make yourself at home. Benji, crouch down behind the counter." I instruct. They don't try to argue with my logic, so they do as they're told.

"Hallo Chloe!" Pieter says as he walks out of his room. And of course, since Pieter is loud, everyone else wakes up.

"Morning DSM! Morning Bellas! Morning Trebles!" I say as they all walk out. Emily runs out and scopes the room.

"W-Where's Benji?" she asks, her voice breaking a bit.

"About that, um..." I say, looking down. She stumbles back a bit, tears forming in her eyes. I touch Benji's hand, a single for him to get up, so he does.

"I'm here." he says with a smile. Emily smiles ear to ear, and runs up and hugs him. He picks her up while hugging her and spins her around.

"Thank God, you're ok." she says into his shirt.

"I'm always ok." he says, putting her down. He turns to me and asks "So, what's the plan?"

"We get in there, save Beca and Dan, and kill my father." I say. "Simple as that."

"Wow, you finally forgave him." Viktor says. "That shows some maturity."

"Thanks. But right now, we need to get into teams." I say. "Get into teams, now!" I say. On now, we all spilt up. I realized everyone went with their A Cappella group. "That was easier than I thought. But we need some way to communicate with each other." I say, pacing the floor to think.

"Hey, you know those iPhones we have? Yeah, they can TEXT." Commissar says sarcastically. I laugh a bit and say,

"Wear all black. It's dark down there, so it should be easy to hide with black on." I say. We all head into our rooms and change into black jeans, a black t-shirt, black shoes, and a black hoodie.

"Let's do this party people." Pieter says. Bumper and Amy hug before we leave, along with Benji and Emily.

"We can say our 'see you later's when we get there." I say, walking out the door. We walk downstairs of the hotel and into the street.

"Mikes Crab Shop, here we come." Pieter says. We jog down the sidewalk until I see a big crab sign. That's when I sprint. I check to make sure I have everything in place. A knife in my pocket, a gun in my inside jacket pocket, and a blade in my shoe. I'm prepared.

"Ok, now we say our 'see you later's." I say. Emily and Benji are first.

"Please be careful." they say to each other. They both nod each other and hug each other. Bumper and Amy don't say anything, just hug. Now it's Pieter and Commissar.

"Please be careful Pieter." she says to him.

"I will kill him. He made you cry, so I'll kill him." he says.

"No, I'll kill him because he threatened you." she says.

"Nope, I'm killing him. He made Emily worry about me." Benji says defiantly.

"No, he threatened Benji! I'm gonna kill him!" Emily says.

"Nah ah, he threatened Bumper, so I'm gonna kill his fat ass." Amy says.

"No, I'm gonna kill him!" Bumper says.

"Ehh hem." I say, loud so they can hear me. "He's MY dad and he took MY Beca." I say.

"Ok, who ever finds him first kills him." Pieter says. We all agree and go inside. We all break up, DSM going right, Treble's going middle, Bella's going right, me going around back to find a door. I run around back in search of a door.

"Damn, this is a big place." I say while running. I fall into a hole, which I noticed has a ladder and a latch below me. I can hear voices inside.

"Dan, don't worry, she'll find us." I hear Beca say. I look through a window and see a big, wooden door. I climb back up and go around the other way. I go inside and see Stacie keeping watch.

"Stacie, I know where they are. Come with me." I say, grabbing her arm and bringing her down a corridor.

"You know, your dad is a HUGE Harry Potter fan. He even has a Mirror of Erised." she says, pointing down a hallway.

"Ehh, why not?" I say, walking down. I look into the mirror and see me and Beca, with 2 boys and 2 girls. We both have rings on and are holding hands. I smile as Stacie walks up. "What do you see?" I ask, turning to her.

"I see me and Cynthia. Just, together." she says with a smile.

"I see Beca and my kids standing with me." I say with a smile. Then I realize, I kinda need Beca to adopt kids with her.

"Ok, let's go find her." Stacie says. I nod and run back into the hallway we were in. At the end, I can see the wood door. I can hear wood crackling and Beca and Dan yelling. I can see smoke coming from the room.

"FIRE!" I scream, running down the hall. I go to the medal doorknob, slightly burning my hand, but flinging it open. I see Dan standing there, but he runs for his life. I see Beca behind him, so I take her hand with my good hand and run away from the fire. After we're safe from the fire, she turns me around and smile.

"I knew you'd come." she says before pulling me into a tight hug. I smile at her touch again.

"I did too." my dad growls from behind me. I feel a sharp pain in my side, and I fall to the ground. I see him turn to Benji, and first on his list. He was about to throw the knife when he falls down with a loud bang. Emily stands there, gun in her hand. Benji looks up at her.

"Benji..." she says softly, dropping the gun and running to him. They hug, as do the others. I lay down, due to the searing pain in my side. I thought Beca would break down crying. I guess I underestimated her. She stayed strong with tears in her eyes.

"We're gonna get outta here." she says to me, picking me up. She wraps my arm around her shoulder and helps me walk out.

"We're both growing." I say with a smile.

"So is our love." she says with a smile.
