Chapter 14

Big plot twist in this chapter guys!

Chloe's POV

I woke up on the bus with a shaking hand on mine. I rolled over to see a freezing Beca on the ground.

"Beca!" I gasp. I almost fall on top of her to crouch near her. "Beca? Say something if you can hear me." I say as I take hold of her hand.

"I know it's you Chloe." She whispers. I pick her up bridal style and bring her into the dorm. I lay her down on my bed and cover her in all the blankets. "I'm hot!" She whines.

"Beca, please don't whine right now." I say. I have a really bad head ache from creaming so much yesterday.

"Fine." She says as she crosses her arms and faces the other way. I guess she's out of it too.

"Imma go get breakfast." I say as I grab my bag. She doesn't reply, only goes on her phone. "Ok." I continue walking down the hall when I bump into Benji.

"Hey Chloe! Grabbing breakfast?" He asks.

"Yeah." I say, still frustrated with Beca.

"May I join you? I'm on my way too." He says. I nod as he walks with me. Benji is the non-jerkiness guy on campus. "So, how's Emily?"

"Legacy? Yeah she's fine." I say.

"Does she ever talk about me?" He asks hopefully. What was I supposed to say? I can't break Benji's heart!

"Sometimes." I say. Now that wasn't an actual lie. She does sometimes. He smiles and opens the door for breakfast for me.

"How's you and Beca?" He asks.

"Ugh, she was moody this morning." I say. He looks shocked. "Why so shocked? Beca's always moody."

"I've just never heard you trash talk her." He gasps.

"Yeah, it's weird." I say as I grab some cereal. He does the same and sits down. "I've never trash talked Beca."

"Well, my dad once said that he had a girlfriend in college. They were both supper stoked. Until after a while, they got bored of each other, got on a fight, and left each other." He says.

"That won't happen with me and Beca. I love Beca." I say, slightly worried about hat happening with me and Bec.

"It happens in every college. In every class. Yet, the class of 2015 has yet to have one." He says as he gets up and leaves.

"Chloe, calm down! It won't happen." I say to myself as I walk out. I keep thinking about this whole situation. Benji could be lying? But Benji never lies.

"Hey Chloe!" A legacy's voice yells.

"Hey Junk." I say as she walks up.

"Were you eating with Benji?" She asks with a smile in her face.

"Yep. Just talking. He asked about you." I say. She starts smiling and dancing in the other direction. I over hear a conversation with Beca and someone on the phone.

"No mom! I don't care that you're calling now! Really? You leave me for 20 something years of my life then try to decide who I love or not? That's not how it works! Sure. Yes, actually. I know. What ever mom." Then the conversation ends. I walk in and pretend nothing happened.

"Hey Bec." I say.

"Why were you being snippy this morning?" She asks.

"Because I head ache because of yesterday."

"So did we."

"And?"

"And? We didn't get snippy with you!"

"So what Beca? You always have an attitude with everyone else!" Now I was getting mad.

"Really? You don't think I have other things going on? Between my mom, work, us, the Bella's! I have no space!"

"What work?"

"I've been working at a producing company!"

"You're keeping secrets from us again. First cancer, then this!"

"You're really gonna pin the cancer card on me?"

"Yeah!"

"Guys, stop fighting." A voice says. We turn around and see Aubrey, the Bella's and the Trebles.

"No! Just because I'm snippy when Beca acts like a bitch half the time, I don't have to be wrong!" I yell.

"A bitch? That's what you think I am!"

"It's what I know you are!"

"Really? So you're dating a bitch now!"

"No, I WAS dating a bitch! Bechloe is done!" I yell. Benji was right. What did I just say. I look up and see Beca crying.

"Beca, come here." Jesse says with open arms. She runs to him and starts crying into his shoulder.

"Beca! I didn't-" I try to speak.

"No, you did. Have fun Chloe. Minus the Be. Hope you don't have to date so called "bitches" anymore" Jesse says as the Bella's and Trebles leave.

"What did I do." I say to myself as I fall back onto the bed.
