Chapter 22

Beca's POV

I walk out of the room and remove the shock belt that was on me. "How long are you gonna make me keep doing this?" I ask with a sigh.

"Until you, and her learn a lesson." he says, referring to Chloe as 'her'.

"But they didn't do anything wrong." Dan says, taking off his shock belt.

"They both let their friends attack me!" he yells. I take a step back, scared beyond wits end. "They're gay! You don't see a problem with that?" he yells at Dan.

"No! I don't!" he yells back.

"And why would that be?" he yells, getting in his face.

"Because I'm bisexual." he growls. Woah. He knows what not being 100% feels like.

"What?" he gasps.

"I'm open to love. You made me put on a tough guy act for so long, and I hate it!" he yells. Maybe Dan isn't so bad after all. Chloe's dad opens a sliding steel door and forces us in. Two metal beds are there, along with a pillow and a singular blanket for each of us. I sit down and look out the tiny window. I can see the sunset.

"So, you're bisexual?" I ask him, finally taking a glance at him.

"Yep. It feels good to finally get that out." he says, biting his lip and nodding. "I'm sorry I was such an asshole to you and Chloe."

"It's ok. He forced you." I say softly. "I guess we were mistaking you as the antagonist the whole time."

"Yeah. But right now, we need to worry about you." he says. "In 2 days, he might kill you if Chloe doesn't do something."

"I know. And I'm willing to die for her."

"No, if you're gone, he'll go after every single person one of the Bella's and DSM care about."

"What?" I yell. "How do you know?"

"This paper." he says, getting up and handing it to me.

Kill List:
1. I will kill Benji, making Emily suffer.
2. I will kill Stacie, making Cynthia Rose suffer.
3. I will kill Bumper, making Fat Amy suffer.
4. I will kill Viktor, making Aubrey suffer.
5. I will kill Pieter, making Kommissar suffer.
6. And finally, I will kill Beca, making Chloe suffer.

"This guy didn't get enough hugs as a child." I say, causing Dan and I to laugh a little bit.

"Do you think we can beat him? I mean, he has us monitored with shock belt when they're around." he says, sitting back down.

"I think we can. We just need to send them a message." I say with a nod. And that's when we heard Kommissar come near the window.

"Tiny mouse, are you here?" she whispers. That made me laugh.

"Yeah, Dan and I both." I whisper, climbing on Dan's bed to see her. She smiles when she does. "How's you and Pieter?" I ask.

"Hopefully we'll be together soon." she says.

"Well when we get out of here, we'll help you and him." I say with a smile.

"So, you're not under his control?" she asks.

"Well, kinda. He keeps shock belts on us when Chloe and the Bella's are around." I say.

"Dang." she says, looking down.

"How's Chlobird?" I ask, worried about her.
