Chapter 28 : Truth

                                                                                     Katherine's P.O.V.

Yesterday was a good day. I think well it turned out to be one at the end. I wake up and realize that I'm in my bed. I don't remember going to bed in it. I smell coffee and food so I decided to get up. Tome I feel like this is a new start. I don't real like crap. I fell happy. I felt happy the other day but it's different. I can't put a finger on it. I feel like today will be a drama free day.

I get up and walk down stairs to find everyone up. I see Luke making breakfast. Bethany is cuddled next to Calum while he's playing video games with Michael. And it looks like Ashton is asleep on the couch. I walk into the kitchen. ''Hay Luke.''

''Hi did you sleep well?'' He asked. ''Yeah I did I feel good today.'' I tell him. ''You're dead Calum.'' I hear Michael yell from the living room. I start to laugh. ''Katherine I hear you and it's not funny.'' Michael yells. ''It kinda is.'' I tell him. I turn back to Luke he's making eggs. It looks like he's having trouble.

''Damn it.'' Luke mumbles under his breath. ''You need help there?'' I ask. ''You can wait no this was suppose to be for you.'' Luke says. ''That's nice what about the others?'' I ask. ''They can make them their selves.'' Luke says. ''Please let me help.'' I beg. ''No go sit down I wanna make it.'' He says. I roll my eyes and head to the living room. There's no where to sit. I walk over to the couch that Ashton is on and move his legs. Ashton looks like he's about to fall.

A few minutes later Luke comes with breakfast for me. He moves Ashton's legs so he can sit. Ashton did fall this time. ''What the fuck?'' Ashton asked. I started laughing. ''I was sleeping you don't just move me.'' He says. I can tell he's upset. I just keep laughing. I'm sorry it's just really funny.

Since I was pretty hungry I hate the eggs fast. ''So you didn't make any for her but not me. I thought you loved me.'' Michael says putting his hand over his hurt like that actually did hurt. I roll my eyes. Luke just shrugged. I had a smile on my face.

''Well someone's happy today.'' Bethany says. ''Who me?'' I ask. ''Well duh you're the only one smiling that big.'' She says. I glance over at Luke. He's looking at me. ''I'm not exactly sure I'm just happy.'' I tell her. Luke buts his arm around me. I lean on his shoulder.

''Whoa what happened to you guys while I was gone because last time I checked you hated Luke.'' Michael says. ''I guess we are friends now.'' I tell him. ''Well I should leave the house more.'' He says. ''Hay you never told us about your date with Bailey.'' I tell him.

Michael started to blush. ''Aww you really like her don't you.'' I tell him. ''Yeah she's something special.'' Michaels says. It's good to hear. I feel bad for Ashton because he hasn't really found anyone ever since us I guess. Luke's pinky starts to play with mine. Each one of his fingers start to grab mine. We twirl are fingers together. His finger are huge compared to mine.

After a few minutes of sitting there with everyone I decided to go change. I get up and go in my room. I mostly just put on some skinny jeans and my Nirvana tshirt. I straighten my hair. My phone starts to go off. It's Tyler.

Should I answer it or not. I would feel awkward around him since a few things did happen between me and Luke. By the time I decide to answer back it ended. It showed 20 missed calls from him. A few texts asking what I'm doing, where am I, Am I free today.

He calls again this time I answer.

Me: Hello

Tyler: What have you been doing. I've been trying to call for the past hour. (sounding upset)

Me: I'm sorry my phone was in my room and I was downstairs.

Tyler: Well next time have it on you.

Me: You don't have to get all mad at me I'm not always going to have me phone I have other things to do then wait for a call or text from you

Tyler: I know but could we meet up somewhere we need to talk.

Me: Yeah sure how about that coffee shop near where I live.

Tyler: Sounds good see you there

He hung up. Well someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Why is he acting like this? I've done nothing. Bethany come's in my room. ''Hay I heard yelling what's wrong?'' Bethany asked. ''Tyler he got all mad at me because I didn't have my phone with me.'' I tell her.

''What did he want?'' Bethany asked. ''He wants to meet me at the coffee shop.'' I tell her. ''Are you going to go?'' She asked. ''Well yeah.'' I tell her. ''Oh.'' Is all she says. We both get up and head downstairs. They are still playing video games. ''Do you guys do anything else?'' I ask about to head to the door. ''Yeah got a problem?'' Michael asked snapping his fingers.

''Where are you going?'' Ashton asked. ''Out with Tyler.'' I tell him. I see Luke in the background getting tense. ''Well be safe.'' He says. I walk out and head to my car. I drive to the coffee shop. I see in the window he's already sitting there.

I walk in and you can hear the ding. He looks up at me. I smile at him. He doesn't give one back. ''Hay.'' I say as I sit across from him. ''I got you a coffee I didn't know what you liked.'' He says. ''It's okay.'' Wow Luke was right. ''Well I wanted to talk because I don't really think we can work out if there's some else in the picture.'' Tyler says.

I had a feeling it was going to be about this but I guess I wasn't ready. Tears started to build up. ''Wait... what do you mean when there's someone else?'' I ask him. ''Luke I know you guys had a thing and might still do. I see the way you guys look at each other.'' Tyler says.

''We are not together.'' I tell him. ''Yet.'' He says. ''You may not see it but you two feel things for each other that I have only seen once.'' He adds. ''Who were they?'' I ask. ''My parents they have been together for 50 years but they both past away a year apart from each other.'' Tyler says.

''I'm sorry.'' I tell him. ''It's alright that's why me and Bailey stick together.'' He says. ''So we are broken up?'' I ask. ''Yeah I'm sorry it has to be like this.'' Tyler says getting up. I stay there and let my tears fall. I watch people begin to stare. I don't care. I get up and throw my coffee away and head to my car.

A/N- Hi guys how is it going. I think this update is okay. Not exactly what I was hoping but it was something. You guys have probably been waiting for this moment for so long. Hahahaha here it is not exactly how you thought it would be. But I tried. Next chapter I think you guys would like. I'm not sure. This chapter was kind of slow getting to the point but I wanted it to have moments of Katherine hanging out with her crew. Wow I just said that. Hmmmm what do you guys think of the break up? I'm honestly happy it's over. I just want Luke and Katherine to be together but a lot of things have to happen first. Vote and comment what you think.
