kim open her eyes..
the sun already rise up.
it was a different day..she could feel it.
she was about to get up when her dad entered her room with a cake..
"happy birthday tiger!!..haha"
yah...it was her birthday but she totally forget about it.
"thanks dad"
"c'mon blow your cake.."
kim smiled while scratching the back of her head
"go tiger.."
"okey dad.."
kim blow the candle and hug her dad..
"ohmmm..i love you kim..i know i always say this to you..but im so happy to be your dad..im so proud of you tiger"
"thank you dad...im thankful too that im your tiger..heheh"
her dad was going to be emotional again.
"hey dad..no crying cause it's my birthday.."
"yah..hehe..by the way..i prepared a breakfast for you..let's go.."
"okey dad.."
from the stairs..kim recognized that smell..
"i think i know what did you cook dad.."
"it's a roasted chicken cook in rice cooker..haha"
"dad??.."
"just kidding ..it's your favorite... native chicken.."
"wow..i missed this dad.."
kim was so full after she almost empty her plate..
"ahmm..boss..khun kim..happy birthday"
it was p'odd.. carrying a big box with a wrapped
"is that your gift for me p'odd?"
"ah..no...a girl brought it in here early this morning.."
"a girl?"
"kim??you have a girlfriend here already?"
"naaaah dad...did she told you who is she p'odd?"
"no..but i think she is not from here"
"okey"
odd gave the box to kim and then went out..
"why dont you open it tiger?"
"later dad..if you're not here..haha"
"nutz...okey.okey..im gonna work first...just eat there."
her dad kissed forehead..
"bye2 dad"
after her dad left..kim put off the wrapper...and open the box..
she felt a little more excited..
"wooooh!!!.."
it was a rubber shoes in a gray color..there's a note in it.."
"happy birthday..i dont know what will i gave you..so i just bought you a shoes...hope you like it. -tak"
kim smiled and likewise felt sad..
why pie didnt even call or text her.. it's her birthday yet pie forgot about it??..
kim tried to call her..but she was out of reached..
kim freshin up...instead of thinking about pie..she just make herself busy at the farm.
"happy birthday kim!!"
it was pat and bee..with a guitar cover..
"seriously?..this is for me?"
"yeah..we bought it from the city kim...we save our allowance just to but that guitar for you..hehehe"
kim gave the two a warmth embraced..
"thank you guyz...:)"
"hey...why are you still sad?"
"no..nothing..heheh..let's go back to work now.."
kim was just pretending to be fine eventhough her heart wanted to explode already
.how can other remember her special day but pie didnt.
during their lunch...her dad prepared a lunch for everyone..each workers and also those who were not but also there...
"tiger??"
"yes dad?"
"you dont want the food?"
"ofcourse.. i want dad...ill just later..im still full.."
"your thinking about pie?"
kim took a sigh..
"it's okey...maybe pie was just busy...but she wont forget your bday.."
"she did dad..i was trying to call her...but cannot be reached. "
her dad tap her shoulder just to comfort her...
"dont be sad..it's your first birthday again with us...you must be happy..dad is here. odd..and your friends...just enjoy okey?"
kim nodded but still pie wasnt out of her mind..
after a few hours of waiting for pie's call..
kim already lost her hope.. it was already dark...she expect her birthday would end up dry..
she was at her room when somebody knock..
"come in.."
"tiger?.."
"yes dad.."
"i have a surprise for you.."
"again dad?"
"yah.im gonna blindfold you.."
after putting the blindfold...she grab kim outside...
"where are we going dad?"
"just stay there...dont put off the blindfold..."
a familiar sound covered the whole place..
it was kim's favorite.. "sobta"

"can i take of the blindfold now?"
"yes"
that was a familiar voice...after she put off the blindfold. she was in a teary eyes..
pie was standing infront of her...blinking her eyes... smiling sweetly..
"happy birthday kim.."
kim ran to her and hugged pie so tight...
that's the time... her dad and the other who was hiding at the side came out and gave a loud applause to them...
