Dark.

So dark.

"You awake yet?" A low voice sounded from the nothingness. She knew this voice.

When she opened her eyes they came in contact with dark onyx ones. "Didn't think to see you again, not like this anyway." She sat up and winced. A IV tube was stuck in her arm along with wires taped to her temples, chest, and stomach. "So, Sasuke. How have you been, get any closer the that goal of yours?" Kaiya faintly smirked

"You've changed." He leaned against the wall of the cold, dark, stone cell. "So have you. Now answer the question."

"I have grown stronger. Soon I won't need Orochimaru at all. Are you still afraid to kill anyone?"

She huffed and ripped the cords off of her. Her eyes glared at him. "No. As a matter of fact. If it's necessary then that is what I'll do. Though I at least give them a chance." Her tail pulls out of the thin covers before shaking any dust off. She sniffed the air. Somewhere there was water. From the sound her ears picked up, she could tell it was either a waterfall or rushing river. "Where did four-eyes take me?"

Sasuke made that 'hn' noise and gave her a smirk. "You think I'd tell a messenger?" He's got a point. This hideout was used for four years and never found. Until he leaves, Sasuke would want to keep it that way. Kaiya stood up and stretched her arms. "Fine, fine. I just want to get out of here as soon as possible." Saying that, she slammed her fist into the wall. It cracked, splintering outwards on impact. The space behind it was densely packed. So the base is underground, figures.

The door opens and in stepped Kabuto. "I see you two have done some catching up." He lifted his fingers into a sign and her body froze up. "Wah!-" Kaiya tried to move but nothing happened. When she opened her mouth, her voice didn't come out. She looked at Sasuke but he had already left. Stupid Uchiha! He always acted so indifferent. Does he not care that his former teammate is being tested on?

Four-eyes pushed her out of the room, feet moving as if pulled by a string. The halls were lit with torches. Door after door. How big was this place anyway. When they turned the corner there was a boy walking by. Long sandy hair and dark green eyes. "Kabuto. Where can I find camellias? I would like to have some. Red or white, they can be either." The way he spoke and acted gave the impression of a space case. Without waiting for an answer, the boy hurried off.

"He's Kimimaru. Ignore him."

Kaiya walked into a room where there was devices, tubes of fluids, scalpels, and more horrible items. The two empty tanks worried her the most. "See that in the right? That was made from the little DNA you gave me. Your blood, at first I thought it would clone your humanoid body. It did. But after going through a process of drawing out more wolf DNA than human DNA, I was able to confront the beginning framework of the beast." So that's what he wants. A giant wolf made from her.

"Now then." She was pressed against a flat board like thing. Shackles snapped closed around her wrist, ankles, waist, and neck. A mechanical whirring sound sounded from behind her as she was slowly lifted up. It was hard to see anything with her head unable to turn.

It was scary.

I'm scared!

Things stabbed into her back and a breathing mask was attached to her face. Something rolled into her mouth and it traveled down her throat. "This will keep you from drowning." The mask was taken off after she swallowed the pill-like object.

The last thing she saw was Kobuto's smile. The restraints let go and she is dropped into the tank. The substance swirling around her was making it hard to stay awake. Kaiya thrashed around, hoping to make the wires detach from her skin. That only tired her out more. She looked to the side and saw the monster being created.
