***Rachel's POV****
My plane landed in Orlando, Florida and it was around nine at night, and the jet lag was killing me. But I couldn't fall asleep, I just kept playing the scene over and over in my head, I couldn't forget the song he wrote for me, the hurt in his teary eyes as I left. I felt heart broken, I felt like I would never be able to love again, I would never be able to love anyone else.
After going through a hoard of people at baggage claim I went to the loading and unloading parking lots where I met Robbie. He was standing next to his car holding a sign that read 'Welcome back Rachel!'. I could tell he was happy to see me but he was also worried.
"Rachel!"
"Robbie!"
I dropped my bags and ran over to the car to hug him, we stood there for about a minute before he asked me the question I've been dreading to answer, "Why are you here?"
We pulled away, and as I remembered why I was here tears started to form in my eyes, "It's a long story." I choked out.
"Well you can tell me when we get home, but for now lets get you in the car." he grabbed my bags and put them in the back.
The drive wasn't so bad, he lived in between Gainsville and Orlando so it was only about an hour. I was going to stay with him until next week when I would start college at Florida University. I had to force myself to forget about Niall, even though that would be the hardest thing I've ever done. I had to focus on volleyball, my academics and my career.
When we got to his house I lugged my bags up to the guest room and then came back down stairs to tell him the story. It was long and emotionally story, from when Niall first confessed to me his feelings here in Florida, to the last goodbye a few hours ago.
And of course he tried to comfort me and help me through this but it didn't entirely help me forget, though when he made me food that did help.
After I was finished eating I said my goodnight and heading to my room to sleep. I laid down in the bed provided and quickly feel asleep.
~Dream~
Here I was again, in the same empty white room but there was a difference this time. I didn't see Jake, I was there alone. Is he finally gone? Am I finally free?
I began to walk around trying to find some sort of answer, anything that could answer my questions. I looked around as I walked and saw something in the distance, two things actually. I continued to walk towards the figures quickening my pace. I was able to make out two different people, and as I got closer I couldn't believe what my eyes saw. My parents.
I ran to them and embraced them as they did the same. I cried out of happiness, it had been so long since I had last seen them. I was over joyed.
I released my grip as they did the same, I looked back at them taking in this moment. They were both wearing white and where the color of their eyes should be it was covered in silver. My mother seemed younger and happier, as did my dad.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked them.
"Rachel I am so sorry." my dad spoke.
"We are your guardian angels and when we heard that you were terrorized by Jake we tried our best to get to you and help, but we couldn't." my mom continued.
"But now everything is okay, and Jake will not other you anymore, we will protect you." my father finished, as the both smiled down at me.
