louis' pov

as i walk onto the clearing we always hang out, i see he's already there. a smile makes it's way on my face and i quietly walk over to him. he's laying on his back, staring at the sky above of him. when i've finally reached him i look down, to see he's already looking at me.

"hey." he mumbles sleepily. "hi." i smile at him, "we're you falling asleep?" i lay down next to him, close enough that our shoulders brush against each other. "yeh, sort of." he says, looking at me with his cute blue eyes. a chuckle escapes my lips, "ofcourse, i could have known when do you not sleep." he giggles and sits up. "hey, i made all these things myself and it costed me like 5 hours so that's like a record?" i can't help but laugh at how cute he is.

"niall the cook?" i say, "niall the 'i'll pretend i'm a cook' more like."

"as you say mr. tomlinson." he gives me a look before he grabs the cooling bag ( a/n : is this a thing ? idk lol ) "so and now for the food, i'm starving."

"oh, another thing, when are you not starving?" he giggles, "i don't know, lou." lou. i love it when he calls me lou. it's sort of weird since i mostly hate being called lou, but it just sounds so cute when he says it.

"louis?" niall asks, waving his hand infront of my face. i quickly shake my head and look at him. "yeah? sorry, kinda zoned out a bit." i hear him mock me quietly in a playful tone.

"hey, i heard that!" i say, taking a bite out of the sandwich he's holding in his hand. "hey, that was mine!" he screams at me, looking at me with a fake frown. "sorry." i quickly apoligize when there's no food left in my mouth, "these are really good by the way."

a proud smile covers niall's face, "i'm glad to hear that." i laugh at him, "oh god, ni, you sound like my grandpa." he shrugs, "maybe i am your grandpa."

i stare at him with my eyebrows furrowed. "scratch that," he says, "i'm sorry that was really weird." i laugh and soon enough he starts laughing with me, oh i love his laugh so much. "yeah yeah, it was."

"anyways," niall says, a blush still covering his cheeks, "what i was saying earlier, what sandwich do you want?"

"peanut butter." i say sternly, causing niall to giggle. "okay great." he says, "because that's the only kind of sandwich i made. oh and cheese, but i know you hate cheese."

niall and i met in a bar 3 months ago, and this is like our second 'romantic' date. i mean other times we just hung out and stuff. the first date happend kind of randomly if i'm being honest, because we were hanging out at my house with some of my friends and then they left and niall and i were alone. so we were bored as shit and we decided to do something and that kinda turned out being a date.

niall hands me a sandwich and i happily take a bite from it. "do you want something to drink?" niall asks. i nod as an answer and niall passes me a little tin of apple juice. "apple juice!" i say happily, kissing niall on the cheek, "this is why i like you."

niall's pov

he likes me. he, louis tomlinson likes me. i swear my head's going to explode. a laugh escapes louis' sweet, pink lips. "you're blusing." he says.

"because it's hot."

"i'm hot."

"way to ruin a moment, tomlinson." i say, bumping my shoulder into his.

"i could easily make it better though." he says, i raise my eyebrows at him. "try me."

"gladly." he says right before putting his lips right on mine. i need a few seconds to realize what's happening but then i kiss him back, completely ignoring all of my insecurities.

after a few moments louis pulls away, "you taste like apple juice." he giggles. I blush and look away, not really knowing what i have to do. "hey, that's a good thing!" he says, pecking my lips one last time, "i love apple juice."

when the sun has already set and the stars are lightly visible through the trees above us, we finally get up to leave. "i don't want to go home yet." louis whines. i chuckle, "then don't?"

"but what can i do now? it's like almost 11!"

"so?" i say, raising my eyebrows at him in a challenging manner, "you don't have any plans right?"

"no?" he says, looking puzzled.

"hm, i got an idea where we can go." i grab his hand and tug him along, in another way that we came from. "uh niall?" he asks, "don't we have to take our stuff." i shrug, "no one will steal it and we'll come past here on the way back anyways." he just silently nods and follows behind me through the woods.

after 5 minutes of walking we are almost there. "i haven't been here in a long time so i hope i got the right pa.." i can't even finish my sentence because we are already there, think i got the right path in the end.

"this is amazing." louis says, his jaw dropped in awe. his hand leaves mine as he steps forward onto the cliff (a/n: idk if it's called a cliff but whatever). i shrug, looking out onto the city as i follow behind louis. louis keeps walking around for a bit so i sit down, admiring the city below me. after a few moments, louis sits down next to me. "niall this is incredible, how did you find this place?" he asks, looking at me with bright eyes.

"my dad found it actually, we used to come here at least once a week, playing games or just sitting down, enjoying our view. i guess that's also why i haven't been coming here that much lately." i look at him, and smile at the way he's looking at me with his bright blue eyes.

"why?" he asks, a little uncertain if he could ask it.

"he died in a car accident 3 years ago, it was stupid really, i don't even know." louis places his arms around me, not saying anything. "that must suck," he whispers after a few moments of silence, "loosing your dad like that." i don't reply, i just look at him and smile. "you're really strong ni." louis says, before pressing his lips to mine again.

plus the boys' album comes out november 13th and i'm so ready.
