Chapter 7

Lauren POV

7 Year's Later

"I need the contracts on my desk please!" i yelled out my office door "There right here" my assistant Alex said "Thank you" i said flipping threw the papers. I started highlighting parts of the recording contract that i needed to take looks at later when i had more time. I am a music manager/ attorney for the biggest record label in Miami "Lylas Records".

After high school i had an internship at a radio station, I knew i wanted to keep pursuing a career in music and i ended up here being the best at what i do. I managed 5 artist at the moment, Jacob Whitesides, Bea Miller, Ariana Grande, Jake Miller and Tori Kelly. My life is absolutely perfect, I had a beautiful apartment with an ocean view of Miami Beach, great friend and family and soon I would start my own record label but that was secret.

"Im on my way to Tori's concert in down town, If you finish early you could be there too" I winked at Alex handing him an all access pass "Thank's boss but i have a hot date tonight" he smirked "Who's the lucky fella?" i asked and he just flipped me off. "Have fun!" he said handing me back the extra pass.

I drove in my Lamborghini to the Fillmore Miami Beach. Tori is not my biggest artist so for now she is playing at small places like this but I believe she is going to make it to Ariana's status soon. Ariana is already headlining arena tours which I am very proud of, It took a lot of work but she is doing great. Most of my artist are still small but they are kicking ass. Like Jacob who is working with Radio Disney as the new next big thing and Bea who has already been the next big thing. I think it is cute how they are dating, It gives them a lot of free publicity.

When i arrived at the arena the Valet parked my car, he looked very excited to be driving it. I saw a long line from the door to the parking lot for entrance and another long line for meet and greets which made me extreme happy "Hey Lolo" Normani hugged me "Hey girl, here you go" I said putting an All access pass around her neck "Thank you" she winked and went off to her husband Masi. I went inside to the Bar and got us drinks and to check up on the merchandise table which was doing very good.

We went back stage later on and visited Tori's dressing room "Hey girl how's Miami treating you?" I asked hugging my artist "Amazing i love everything here it is so great and the food is amazing!" She said and i laughed "Well I'm glad, have you done interviews yet?" I asked "I'm on my way there" She said "Good, this is my best friend Normani and her husband Masi" i said introducing them "Hi its nice to meet y'all!" the California girl said hugging my friends "Can we get a photo?" Mani asked and of course Tori said yes. After snapping a few photos Tori was off to do interviews and my friends went to the audience area.

I went on the stage to check if everything was in place according to the rider which had the stage map on it and thankfully it was. I once had to re arrange the whole stage 30 minutes before the show because it was not safe for Ariana, that was hell but the show went on.

I checked out the crowd and spotted Normani talking to some people which was odd because she usually just goes to the VIP area up top but she was on the floor.

After looking for a few minutes i noticed she was speaking to Dinah Jane Hansen! I was absolutely mind blown. I haven't seen her in like 6 years then looking closer i noticed Ally Brooke Hernandez was there as well... I quickly went down to the floor area to greet them but when i was just about to say Hi fans recorgnized me "Lauren! Can we have a photo with you?" they asked "Of course girls... Thanks for coming tonight!" I said smiling for the picture and soon more fans came "Can we get a photo too?" I nodded and smiled for each photo "Thank you so much for doing a great job with Tori's career you're the best manager" i smiled a hugged the girls "Thanks for being the best fans and supporting her we have to work together" I said and they got excited and ran back to there seats. Fan always recognize me form photos and twitter, They are so sweet "Well check you Jauregui i would think you're the singer if i didn't know better" Dinah said and i smiled hugging the tall girl "How are you!" I asked "Im great i didn't know you were Tori's manager!!!" She said "Yeah that's what i do, How are you Ally?" I said hugging the shorter girl "I'm great you know just working hard" she smiled.
