"Yes, yes, I'm on my way... Yeah... Laura, relax, I'll be right there.... Yeah... Love you too. Okay." You hang up the phone, rolling your eyes and starting the car. Christ, Laura is freaking out over you being 5 minutes late to dinner. Who knew she could be such a bridezilla? You find yourself smiling at that. She calls you, again. You press the button on your dashboard to answer (safe driving amiright?). "Laura, I swear to God, I am literally pulling into the parking lot now." Her voice is crackly but you can still tell it's her. "Oh good, just checking in." "Christ." You press the button again to hang up and get out of the car. "Yes, yes I'm here, darling. No need to call me again." She practically bolts into you. "Ho, woah, hello." Her grip tightens around you, you have no other choice so you hug her back placing a kiss on her forehead. Someone clears their throat and who is it? "Ah yes, the giraffe." "Ha, ha, very funny." You've always wondered why Laura picked someone so much taller than her. "Well, are you two just gonna glare at each other all night?" You force a smile, as does Danny when you both throw out a "No, pfft of course not! Me? Glare at her?" You shake hands and sit down. Danny gets up to go to the bathroom and you give Laura a look. "I know, but we're getting married! You should get to know her!" "I tried doing that, and what I've gotten to know, I don't like." Laura gives you a look and kicks your shin. "Ow! I have my right to an opinion!" "You're my best friend! You're supposed to support my decisions!" "No actually, I'm supposed to protect you from making stupid ones." She was about to say something when she looks up and forces a smile. "Hey Sam!" She gets up and hugs one of the most gorgeous girls you've ever seen in the whole world. (You think Laura is definitely number 1 but you ignore that.) "So Sam, this is Carm, the girl I told you about." "Ah, yeah, hey, I'm Sam." She holds a hand out and you take it.

You have a nice dinner and you talk to Sam, she's really cool. You enjoy talking to her.

After dinner, Danny and Sam go off to get drinks. "So, what do you think of her?" That's when it hits you. "Laura, are you trying to set me up?" "Well I mean, not necessarily-" "I told you I don't want to date anyone right now. I am perfectly fine going alone to the wedding. And for the last time, I'M NOT GAY!" She makes a 'you sure of that?' look which makes you blow up. "LAURA, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU DIDN'T TRY TO CONTROL MY LIFE!!! YOU DON'T KNOW EVERYTHING, GOD DAMMIT!" She shows a look of both being shocked and upset. "No, no come on Laura, I'm sorry please don't-" She runs off towards Danny. "-cry." you smack your head on the table. "Hey, what happened to L?" "Sam, I'd appreciate if you left me alone right now. "Woah, what's wrong?" She sits down next to you, putting a hand on your back causing you to flinch. "Look, I'm not gay." She pulls her hand away. "Oh, I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable then.. It's just that... you're.. like... really hot." You're not gay just for a little mindless flirting, right? "You're not so bad yourself."

She pushes you against the wall, her hands exploring your body. You kiss her roughly, running your fingers through her hair. You're finally getting somewhere when the door is basically falling off its hinges at how hard that person is banging on it. "Sam... Sam... Could you uh-?" She gets off of you, "sorry." "Did you unclip my bra?" She blushes. "Smooth." "KARNSTEIN IF YOU DON'T OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW, I AM GOING TO TEAR THE HOUSE APART!!!" "Alright, alright, calm down Xena, I'm coming." You open the door and Danny takes your throat in her hand. "Hey, you're uh... kind of choking me." You breathe out. "Dan, what are you doing?!" Danny looks over at Sam and then lets you go. "Oh I get it, you make Laura cry and THEN go along with her blind date?" "Danny, please calm down. I'm sure L is fine." "Sam, stay out of this. This is between me and dead girl, here." She grabs you by the collar. Laura comes running in through the door frame, out of breath. "Did you run here from the restaurant?" Danny lets you go. You grab her by the collar and throw her against the wall. "You left her alone at the restaurant?!" "GUYS, CALM DOWN!" Laura gets in the middle of you two and push you apart. "Sam? Ha, I knew you two would hit it off." You blush and so does Sam. "Alright, time to go home, Rocky." Danny rolls her eyes and walks out the door. "I'll uhm let you get back to.. ya know... whatever." Laura winks and closes the door behind her. You and Sam both burst out laughing. "Hey so uh... you want to watch a movie or something?" "I would love to watch a movie." You smile at her and walk over to your movie cabinet.
