"Hey Jean! Where's (y/n)? Isn't she always at your side?" Eren teased. "Shut up titan boy! She probably just slept in!" He yelled back. Jean and (y/n) have been best friends for what seems like forever. After Marco died (spoilers sorry) these two seemed closer than ever. They also ate together and trained together. (Y/n) wasn't never the strongest soldier and Jean knew this. That's why he made her follow him into the Scouting Legion/Survey Corps/Whatever else it's called. He was rather protective over her ever since the death of his freckled partner. "Look, there she is now. (Y/n)! What took you so long?" Eren called. She yawned as she sat next to Jean. "Overslept." "I told you. No one knows (y/n) better than I do!" He proudly stated. "Creeper." Mikasa whispered under her scarf. "Only because we've known each other since you were just a little foul. I was a little cutie though." She boasted. "I agree. Quite the cutie you are!" Reiner yelled from across the room. "Shut up!" Jean yelled. "Woah! Possessive are we?" He teased. Jean growled at him. "Down boy." (Y/n) laughed. "I thought you were a horse, not a dog." Eren laughed along. "All of you, SHUT UP!" Jean yelled as he stormed off. "I'll go talk to him." (Y/n) followed after him. "Hey Jean! Wait up!" She called. Jean only walked faster. "Jean, seriously. Stop!" She yelled down the hall. "Why? So you can tease me again?" (Y/n) stopped in her tracks. "Jean, you know I don't mean to hurt your feelings." Jean rolled his eyes. "When I ask you to stop you don't." "Well you don't exactly say it in the nicest way. But, I guess I just thought after being friends for so long that you'd just get used to it. Like I got used to your bluntness." (Y/n) shrugged her shoulders while Jean crossed his arms. "I'm not that blunt!" He argued. (Y/n) only laughed and shook her head. "Why do you care all of a sudden anyway?" She asked ending her fit of laughter. "I-I just realized something a while back." He stutters. "Oh? And what's that?" Jean turns complete red. "Your hair is prettier than Mikasa's." He starts. (Y/n) raised an eyebrow. "What does that mean?" Jean sighs. "I like you, okay? Like-like you! When your tease me, I feel like it's your way of saying you don't like me and then I get sad and it's just frustrating!" He rants. "It's a vicious circle where everyday I love you more and more but you also bring me down. I don't care when someone else says it. It only hurts when it comes from you." (Y/n) stared at him with a red face and wide eyes. "Jean, I-I don't know what to say. I mean...I've never seen this side of you before! And I've known you forever!" She smirks. "So?" "So? What?" "Do you like me back?" Jean nervously asks. "Jean, that is a question I've been wanting to hear for years!" She smiles. "What? Wait, you had a crush on me first?" He asks. "Do you know how hard it was to watch you fanboy over Mikasa?" "Huh? I defiantly never ever EVER did that!" (Y/n) walked over to the boy and held him tight. "It doesn't matter because now I have you to myself." She says. Jean wraps his arms around her and places his chin on her soft (h/c) hair. "I and I'll stay forever."

I feel like this sucked. Jean seems OOC and I don't really like it but whatever. It could have been worse! I had updated a lot this weekend! I'm so proud of myself!
