I woke up to Katelin jumping on my bed. Her parents were out of town which Katelin was really sad about. Her parents are rich and don't really pay attention to her.
"Get up it's Christmas!"
I groan as I sit up. "Can I sleep in?" I say rubbing my eyes.
"Nope because you're not going to be sad today." She smiled. "Even though Jacob dumped you. You can still have a good Christmas!"
She pulled me out of bed and drags me downstairs. Katherine and my dad are already up drinking coffee. Toby and Annie are in the kitchen.
When my dad saw me he gave me and Katelin a present. We ripped our open. Mine was a bix but before I could open it a letter was taped to it. I tore open the letter.
Dear Natalie
I'm writing this so it can be given to you on the Christmas you're sixteen. I hope to see the smile on your face when you rip open the box and squeal in joy. I love you my sweer daughter merry Christmas.

A few tears rolled down my cheeks as I carefully opened the box. I gasped at the sight.
"Moms necklace." I whispered taking it out.
My mother had a necklace that was passed down to all the women in our family. My grandmother gave it to her and my mom gives it to me. I put it on and looked at my family. Before I could speak the phone rang.
"I'll get it." I say running to the phone. "Hello?"
"Hey Nat.." He sighs.
"Jacob? Why are you calling me?"
"Just to wish you a merry Christmas.."
"Why are you calling?" I repeat.
He chuckles. "Listen I told Tyler to go to your house later so do me a favor and move on." Before I could reply he hung up
"Who was it?" Katherine asked.
"Wrong number." I lied.
By two P.M there was a knock on my door. Tyler my ex stood there.
"Please just go.." I said.
"Nat we need to talk it's important."
I sat down on my bed as he came in. He ran his fingers through his dark hair.
"I know I was a jerk when we were together but I-I loved you.." He said.
I shot up from the bed. "You should go." I tried to open the door for him but he grabbed my arm.
"You still have feelings for me don't you?" He whispered in my ear.
"Leave." I said firmly.
"I know you love Jacob but you love me too."
"Leave!" I yell.
"Nat..." He trails off.
I rip my arm out of his grip and open the door. "Leave " I repeat.
He sighs and leaves. I can't believe Jacob sent him to get back together with me! I wont lie I still have feelings for Tyler but I have stronger feelings for Jacob but he's cowerd and leaves when things get rough. That's the moment I relized we aren't ment to be..
