Ch.6

    Rin's POV

Today was our first training session as trainees. Yet to think that there are only 2 trainees in the 78th generation. Nao and I walked into the practice room and saw Tsubasa talking to someone. "Good morning Tsubasa!" I said cheerfully. "Good morning to you two as well. This is Ushiyama, your choreographer." Tsubasa said turning around. Ushiyama had long indigo hair and I think he was a woman? Or is she a man? "You must have a question if I'm a man or woman?" Ushiyama asked. What? How'd he know my question?? "I like to call myself trans-female." Ushiyama said. Nao and I nodded. "Ok so you two will be dancing to... Ponytail to Shushu." Ushiyama said. Nao and I nodded. "Ok I'll have Atsuko Madea the 14th and Chieri Sono teach you the moves." "No thank you Ushiyama-San. Rin and I have it down." Nao said. Ushiyama looked surprised. "Very well then." Out of the corner of my eye I saw all the successors and Chieri pile in the room to watch. The music started and Nao and I got ready to dance.I took a deep breath and smiled as I danced along with Nao.  I put my hands up and shook them just as I saw Yuuko and Chieri dance to this song on TV. Then Nao and I started to sing along with the recording. Poniiterru! Our kiraras glowed with radiance. Soon the song finished and everyone burst with applause. Nao and I smiled at them. "Very impressive." Tsubasa said clapping. "But the question is who shined brighter?" Yuuko asked. Tsubasa shook her head. "Yuko it's not about competiton." "But yes it is! Acchan and I are trying to beat Chieri for the Center Nova position!" Yuko pointed at me. "78th generation trainee, Rin Akiyama, I challenge you to a sing-off!" "M-me?" I asked. Nao glanced at me and shrugged. Yuko nodded and got up. "So what song?" "Um...." "What about Kibou Ni Tsuite? But you have to dance too." Chieri spoke up. "O-ok I'll do it." The song started and Yuuko and I started to sing and dance. Our kiraras shined as we danced. Yuko and I continued to dance and sing and our kiraras shined brighter and brighter. As we reached the end my kirara shined brighter. Yuko and I smiled at each other. "And that my fellow successors is a sing-off." I could see Chieri and Acchan talking and the rest of the successors came down and asked a lot of questions. "Girls!" Tsubasa yelled across the room. It got deathly quiet. "Thank you. Rin, Nao it's time for you to meet the other trainees."
