AKB0048 Fanfiction! (Under Editing)

Ch.14

Nao's POV

I wake up in the dorm to the sound of music bursting downstairs. I look over at Rin's side of the room and see that she's gotten out of bed already. I sigh. Since yesterday, after seeing her father's interview, Rin set aside that her disease is making her worse when she practices. I get out of bed and change into my practice clothes. I head downstairs and peek into the room before heading inside. Rin is practicing with Acchan, Chieri, and Mariko. At least she's not practicing alone.

"O hio!" I say walking in to the room.

"O hio!" They all say with a smile.

"You're finally up Nao!" Rin says.

"Yeah, so what were you guys practicing?" I ask.

"The dances for Aikatta, Kibou ni Tsuite, and Oogoe Diamond. But it seems like Rin-chan has it all down." Mariko says with a smile.

"Arigato Mariko-San." Rin says.

"What about you Nao? Do you need to practice the dances?" Acchan asks.

"No I think I'm good for now. But we need to listen to Happiness." I say. I glance over at Rin.

"Etto, it's not going to be what the fans are used to since it's a light, lively song, and it's definitely not what AKB is used to either." She says.

"It's fine. Just play the recording and sing." Chieri says smiling.

Rin nods and presses play then starts to sing.  Her voice wavers through the the air and I hear the door open. Haru walks in with the rest of the trainees and Tsuabasa-San. I put a finger up to my lips and they all nod. Rin soon finishes her song. "That's a pretty good song you got there." Kanata says. Rin turns around a bit shocked that the trainees, Haru and Tsuabasa were standing there the whole time. "Thank you Kanata." Rin says. Kanata smiles and gives her a thumbs up.

"That's a wonderful song, Rin. Have you come up with dance moves yet?" Tsubasa asks.

Rin nods and motions me over to stand next to her. "Nao and I came up with some moves." I smile at Rin and we start to dance. Soon we finish and I glance over at Rin making sure she's ok. I notice Haru looks worried as well.

"That's amazing! You guys came up with that all by yourselves!" Yuka says.

Rin smiles, "Arigato, minna-san."

"Oh Tsubasa-san, what about outfits for them?" Mariko asks.

"Ah, that's right, we'll figure something out." Tsubasa replies, then adds, "Well I'll be taking my leave. Keep up the good work." Tsubasa exits the room.

Rin's POV

I watch as Tsubasa-san exits the room.

"Well you guys have everything down pretty well." Acchan says stretching.

"Arigato Acchan." Nao says smiling.

I watch as Acchan and Nao talk, chatting happily.

"Rin, are you ok?" Haru asks walking up to me.

"Huh? Oh I'm fine, Thanks for asking." I say.

"Ok, just don't overwork yourself." Haru replies.

"Thanks, Haru-kun." I say.

Haru gets embarrassed. "D-don't call me that! I thought we went over this before Rin!"

I laugh. "Hehe, your face is so red!"

Haru's face gets even redder then he relaxes. "You got me Rin-chan."

I smile at Haru and he smiles back. Just being here with my friends makes me forget about my illness, and I won't stop performing no matter what.

So another chapter, but it's been so long since I've updated. Sorry for the long wait! But I changed the cover for the story but I'm not sure which one you guys like better. I've put the first original cover up top and you guys can tell me what you like better. Also the song Happiness is a character song for Sawa and Konatsu from an anime called Tari Tari. I don't own that song! But Tari Tari is a good anime and its on Crunchyroll. Anyway I hope you enjoyed this chapter!
