Ch.15

Rin's POV

Breakfast! My favorite part of the day! Nao and I had just finished making dance moves for Happiness and we were starving afterwards. 

"Hey Rin!" Takamina, Yuuko, and Sayaka walk up to the table.

"Ah, hey Takamina-senpai, Yuuko-senpai, and Sayaka-senpai." I say.

"How are you feeling?" Takamina asks.

"Fine, what about you?" 

"I'm good, we just don't want you to overwork yourself. Well enjoy breakfast!" Takamina says walking away along with Yuuko as Sayaka walks over to Sae.

"Everyone's really worried about you huh?" Nao says.

"Yeah, but I mean there's nothing to worry about really. I'm fine." 

Chieri and Acchan give me a glance then I say, "Ok, not exactly fine. But I honestly feel great!"

"Even though you may think you feel fine, you might actually not, so just take it easy Rin. There's no rush in trying to get ready for the concert. We still have 2 months left." Nao says.

"I know, but trust me, I feel fine. You guys have nothing to worry about!" I say finishing up breakfast.

I throw my plate away and say, "Bye guys! I'm heading off to practice," then I head to the practice room.

Acchan's POV

I sigh as I watch Rin run off.

"She's a fighter." Chieri says.

I nod in agreement, "Yeah... but is she really feeling okay?"

We both sigh thinking about it until Nao speaks up, "I think she'll be fine. I've known Rin for a long time. She can handle it."

"You're worried too, huh?" I ask.

Nao nods and gives me a small smile, "Yeah, but Rin's strong. She'll be fine."

Then suddenly Yukirin runs up to our table.

"Y-yukirin! What's wrong?" Chieri asks.

"Tsubasa, she needs you guys to come quickly!"

Chieri and I get up from our seats.

"Lead the way." 

"Nao you need to come too." Yukirin says.

Nao gives us a puzzled glance but comes anyways sensing that the situation is urgent.

"Yukirin what's wrong?" I ask as I follow along with Chieri and Nao.

"I'm not sure... I was double checking Rin's x-rays for any complications and there was one! I swear it wasn't there before but it's there now!"

"A complication? What kind?" Chieri asks.

"It hasn't been confirmed but it may be a successor fever!"

"A successor fever?" Nao asks.

"Possibly... results haven't come back yet."

I stop running along with them and slump down onto the wall.

"Acchan? What's wrong?" Nao asks.

"Just go on, I'll be there in a minute." I say.

Chieri stops running too as Yukirin and Nao keep going to the infirmary.

"Are you worried?" Chieri asks as she sits down next to me.

I look up at her, "I'm scared. I-I know I shouldn't feel this way...I mean Rin is a great idol... I-I just don't want to lose Acchan's name!"

"Nagisa, it'll be fine. I promise you. I can feel that you're meant to be Acchan's successor." Chieri says hugging me.

"T-thank you Chieri." I say giving her a small smile.

"There's the Nagisa I know," Chieri says smiling back, "Now let's start heading towards the infirmary."

I nod as I get up and Chieri and I run to the infirmary. Yukirin is pacing around the room waiting for the results to come back. Nao is sitting on a chair swinging her legs, waiting just as anxiously as Yukirin. Tsubasa stands there as she sees us walk in.

"Thank you for coming here unexpectedly, we're all waiting for the results." Tsubasa says.

Chieri and I nod, then I ask, "Where's Rin?"

"She's practicing, but the other trainees are with her."

"That's a relief..." I say smiling.

Yukirin suddenly gasps, "The results they're back!"

We all crowd around the computer as Yukirin clicks on some things.

"What is it?" Tsubasa asks.

"N-no way..."

"What is it??" I ask.

"I-it's a... new fever." Yukirin says finally.

"A new fever?" Chieri asks.

Yukirin nods, "It's not like a succession fever... it's..."

"A cure. It's not a fever! Look!" Nao says pointing at the screen.

Yukirin takes a look and her eyes widen, "You're right! Nao you're a genius!"

"A cure? For the Kirara disease?" Tsubasa asks.

Yukirin nods excitedly.

"Wait, but if Rin-chan sings and preforms she gets worse...so how does this cure work?" Nao asks.

"I have a guess. But it contradicts everything we've told Rin." Chieri says.

"What's your guess?" I ask.

"Maybe, the cure works if she sings and preforms. I know we told her to take it slow but it's probably the only way. We just have to hope that the cure overtakes the disease." 

"That's an interesting theory Chieri. We'll have to do more research but for now inform Rin and the others of the circumstances." Tsubasa says.

Chieri nods and we exit the infirmary with Nao.

???'s POV

"Sir! It has been confirmed that there is a cure to Rin's disease."

"Is that so? Our plan is going accordingly well. Just think about it if the cure and the disease never showed up."

"Yes you're right sir... for it was only a prediction that this would happen.

"Those idols are going down one way or another..."

So another chapter done! And super long too! This makes for the wait even though its under editing. I know you are patiently waiting for Fairy Tail x Reader, but I have hit writer's block for a request I'm working on. I hope to get another chapter updated soon but for now AKB will be updated. I hope you enjoyed this chapter! And any guesses to who that mystery man is?
