"Gangsters?!" I asked.
"Yup." Maddie confirmed.
"Okay." I believed her. "What can we do to... make them gone?"
"Uh.. for each realm, there are two people who can see you. You only have to have one of them to pass your mission. But the other one, if you can find the person who owns it, can perish one evil force at a time."
Ugh! I really wanted those gangsters to go away, but if the gangsters were there, I probably have a deadline now that these gangsters were here.
"Let's go find H."
"Sure." I sighed, feeling lost.
"Hurry up!" Maddie looked back at me for a brief second, smacking into H.
"Haha!" I laughed falling to the ground.
"That is not funny!" Maddie yelled.
"Um... yeah... it is." I said.
"No, it is not!" Maddie yelled at me.
"Yes! Did you see that? The look on your faces!" I guffawed.
"Oh. My. Grace." Maddie said seriously.
"Ooh! Omg can stand for 'Oh my Grace'!" I said, interested.
"Yeah, yeah. Sure, sure." Maddie said, looking bored.
"..." I was speechless.
H stood there, looking pale white.
I know. I was taking it too far, but you got to admit, it was funny! Let me paint it out for you: I was watching Maddie with her flowing black hair, running happily toward H, not knowing she was going to crash. I saw H, too, and she was looking back at something.
"Okay, I know that this is very "funny", but I think it's time to go, the gangsters are here!" H yelled at me.
Oh. Whoopsies! I should have known. H was running from gangsters!
I ran as fast as possible, trying to avoid poles as dramatically as possible, making H and Maddie chase after her. It sort of helped, because it made them go a lot faster as they would have.
"Get them!" a deep voice shouted from behind the girls. "Remember the reward!"
Reward? We were wanted for a reward? Uh oh. Why would we be wanted for a reward?
A loud bang to my body brought me back to the present. Ouch! My body ached. I had crashed into a pole! Well, there goes karma.
"Get her while she's distracted!" cried the deep voice behind her.
I sped off again. Maddie and H hot in pursuit.
I looked back, and the gangsters were right behind us, yelling. Were we going to get caught?
