Uh Oh...

We ran as fast as we could, running as fast as we could. The gangsters followed in pursuit. We ran into an alley, which lead into another street. But... there was a road block! There was nowhere we could go! I looked around for an exit, but it seemed we were in a dead end.
The gangsters advanced, looking at us curiously. "I thought they were more... well... grand." said a gangster.
"I mean.. I don't get why Boss needs them so much." said a second.

"And plus! He's not paying us or anything."

"We can take them down, easy."
"Excuse me?" I said. "That's so not true, you... you..thugs!"
"Yup, that's what we are." he laughed coldly. "Thugs."
"And we're going to do our job." said the other.
They charged at us. H screamed. It was chaotic. It was a mess. We fought. But, of course, it doesn't work. They knocked us out in seconds, and quickly brought us back to their... whatever.
It was a grand place, filled with interesting gadgets and such. When we finally awoke, a brown-haired man stared back at us. There were other ghosts too, all looking tired with new arrivals.
"Well, well, well. Look what we have here. A new set of failures." He chuckled. "You are just like the rest of them. So determined, yet so vulnerable. I should've known not to hope better of this troop." He gave a hard pat on their backs.
"Oh yeah, and I can see ghosts, and I gave the power to my thugs as well. So you'll never know who's my people and who's not."
He left the cage, and chatter went up around the crowd.
"Look at the newcomers, they look so hopeful!" jeered one prisoner.

"Well, let me break it to you, you're never gonna get out of this horrible place." said another.
"Stop it!" H cried. "We don't need all of this!"
"Well, she's a feisty one, alright." someone murmured.
"Don't call me that!" H said.

After a while, we lost all hope. We had made plan after plan, but none seemed workable. Madeline made a lot of rainbow unicorns, while H talked about doom forever. I was the only one who made real plans, but I couldn't help thinking about Lucas. He would have been very helpful in this situation, nothing more.

But.... there was nothing I could do. We would stay here forever, and since we were ghosts, we couldn't die of starvation, but instead boredom.

I'm sure we would get rescued, but when?
