NANDINI'S P.O.V.

It was 4 October 2015. Okay, the weather was harsh on me. But does that mean that I should be fitted in a plane and be thrown to India?

No way!

Though India is great, I like being in Manhattan. I mean, I have a great friend circle here! I've had a great time living here and just because Amms wants us to live in India, I have to fly to India.

It's not like I dislike India... It's just that I am attached to everything here. I grew up in Manhattan. Okay, I also lived in Columbia but that was only for one year!

I love Manhattan and I'd miss it throughout my life.

"Di? Come out fast. We need to leave." said Rishab from the other side of my sweet brown door which I am going to miss like hell.

"Coming!" I said and quickly ran towards my closet to change since I cannot enter a flight in loose pyjamas and a long top.

I took out a pair of tight fitting blue jeans and my favourite white crop top (though it's more of a tank top).

I let open my hair and just applied the basic makeup necessities which included only eye liner and lip gloss. You know, I had to apply it because I fear that if people see me without it, they'd probably die out of shock.

"Quick di!" came another voice out from Rishab's mouth to hit my ears and making me remember that I am about to leave Manhattan.

"Oh gosh! Rishab! Have patience!" I shouted.

"Fine! GO TO HELL!" he shouted irritatedly.

"Tell me where it is! No, I know! It is at Ms. Jay Zee's. Remember?" I said grabbing my LV's sling bag.

"Oh I bet!" he replied and I unlocked the door.

"Finally." he said.

"Come on now." I said and we walked down from my room to our loby.

I saw Kendrick already standing there.

"So, Nandini, are you seriously leaving?" he asked.

"Um...yes." I replied.

"But what about us?" he asked with an expression that made me feel that he was almost about to cry.

"IT'S OVER. Now, you can leave."

"Wh-what? But why? I mean, how?"

"Listen, I'm sorry. You deserve better."

"Don't go to India."

"I cannot break any of my family member's heart. Now Kenny, bye." I said and he left with his perfect South American accent and his head bowed down.

Somewhere, I felt bad for him. Poor guy. I did not wanted to ditch him. Though I've dumped many boys but he... He was different.

Forget him. You have another problem right now!

Yes! I am going to India. I'll be missing everyone here.

I'd be missing Jazz, Stacey, Josh, Lily, Emily, Kenny, Tina, Sharon, Jane, Austin and all of the other people.

We both went and said a goodbye to Amms who was busy on phone arranging stuff for us in Mumbai.

I did some eavesdropping on Amms... I heard that I was getting an admission in the S.P.A.C.E. Academy and Rishab was going to Warrior High. We were going to live in the same kind of mansion. She even had a surprise for me which I heard. Stupid me. It was that she got the same kind of interior done for the mansion in Mumbai exactly like it was here.

So now both the mansions were going to be same from inside... I'd still have my blue wall painted room with my usual bed. The only difference will be that there will be no Amms... I'll miss her. It is because of her I am going to India...

But I should cheer up instead. I'd meet chacha and chachi there. They are so jolly. They are so generous enough to shift from there own house for us. I really should be happy.

Huh...

Let's see that are we welcomed in our birth place, India.

I entered inside our limo which drove us to the airport.

It seemed that like not in a fraction of seconds, we were done through all the crying and emotional goodbyes and took our seats in this flight.

"So, we finally made it on time." said Rishab.

"Indeed." I as my voice broke down.

"Di, don't cry. No one will eat you in Mumbai."

"You know Ma and dada died there? In the same mansion? What about Amms? Now who will irritate me with music at 4 A.M. every morning?"

"Even I'll miss the way Amms scold us every morning for not waking up early. But look, I am not crying. We'll come back soon."

"You think? If you do so, you are so wrong. Once we live here, we'll have to live forever because I am sure in no time Amms will shift in. India is nice, it really is. But I wonder that will we ever fit in? We have our contacts here and there in India..." I lost my words.

Even Rishab didn't say anything.

We both fell asleep and were awakened by the announcement the air hostess made in her pinching voice tone.
