26. Locked Away

NANDINI'S P.O.V

I had to force myself to come to college. After whatever Manik said me in just a fraction of seconds, I really didn't feel like coming to college at all. But I had to push myself out as exams were coming and I need to borrow notes.

Mukti called me in one of the classrooms where we were supposed to study English. At least I had to... As I am an English Hons. Student.

I went to that room though I was feeling very low.

Nandini? What the heck has happened to you? You are feeling low!?! Are you mad!?! What are you doing here when you should be at Manik's home!?! You are NOT one of those little girls who feel very sad and be Dev-D! Show Manik who he is fighting with!

With this thought, I was about to rush out of the door with a huge wicked plan in my brain to almost explode Manik's room with my second love - Coke. It's gonna be so fun! Muahahahahaha! Manik thought that I, as in I, Nandini Murthy is a bholi-bhali girl!?! No way! I wonder how I could I be so weak that I cried in front of him at the hospital.

As soon as I was going out with the door lost in my thoughts when I bumped with someone.

This could be Manik?

I thought as I touched his hand by mistake. Only his touches make my nerves dance.

"YOU!?!" we both shouted in a unison.

"WHY ARE YOU COPYING ME!?! UGH!!!!" we both again shouted in unison. First I felt like smashing his face for copying me but then I felt like laughing. This has happened a lot with me and Manik. But I somehow controlled my sudden urge to laugh and tried to remain serious. I know that I must be looking funny as an idiot but, I managed to not to laugh.

"You want to come inside!?!" I asked him angrily.

"Yes. Now get aside."

"No I won't. I remember someone calling me selfish." I said smartly and smirked. I went inside and sat with all my swag on one of the desks.

"Oh really? So you are proving it... Cool. Then even I WILL stay here." he said angrily.

Manik - 02 Nandini - 01
"Sure. Have a seat. Want a Coke?" I said and made him more angry. This made me more happy making him angry.

He looks cute while being angry.

Brain, can you shut up? We're fighting.

But he does look cute.

I know... I agree but right now let me fight.

"Coke? Sorry. I'm on a diet." he said.

"Yeah you NEED to as you are getting a bit...okay... very fat." I said and insulted him on face.
