30. Manik don't Crush my Crush

"Happy Holi and sorry that I'm late." said a fantastic male voice.

OMG it can't be him! No way! I LOVE HIM!

I turned around to see him.

"H-hi Maddy. I'm Nandini." I said to him a straightened my hand for a handshake.

"Hello Nandini. Nice to meet you." he replied and kissed my hand like a gentleman.

Manik glared at him.

Everyone else introduced themselves to him properly except for Manik who just plainly said his name.

"So you guys know each other?" Mike asked.

"No. He is a YouTuber. Maddy."- I turned to Mike a.k.a. Mukti and whispered, "My online crush."

Mukti formed an 'O' and smiled.

"Why are you here?" Manik asked.

"Well your college is doing a play right? The Modern Couple I suppose? I will give it the online cover. This is my fees for the next two years in college." he said.

OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! HE IS COVERING THE STUPID PLAY! OUR AGES ARE SAME AND GUESS WHAT? WE ARE IN THE SAME YEAR!!!! HE IS JOINING FROM THE SECOND YEAR AND I AM TOO GOING INTO SECOND YEAR unless I fail... But will I fail..? No... I studied well this time. And anyways I like English, and I was the topper of English in Manhattan so why can't I top in English Honours?

"Your videos are really good." I said smiling. I couldn't control my smile. I attended each and every YouTube Fan Fest just to see him. What? Can't I be a fan girl? I just couldn't stop blushing.

"By the way I must say that you are very pretty." he said to me. I smiled more widely. He is charming and handsome. Oh God thank you so much for sending a blessing! I always wished to see him and talk to him and yes, the first wish of my bucket list (okay second... The first one was to see fireflies) was fulfilled.

"That's why she's my girl." Manik said and came smirking in between both of us. I could hear Cabir sing under his breadth, "Someone is jealous."

Maybe Manik heard him too so he glared at him.

"Oh no," Maddy said pretending to stab his chest by his fist, "I thought that I had a chance with this beauty. Never mind then."

"NO!" My reflexes ordered me to shout this I pushed Manik (who was acting as a wall) aside and said, "Pft.. Anyways... Um... Your videos are really good."
