Chapter Nine:
"Like your going to kiss him!" Xavier shouted as the bottle landed on Blake. "I'm way better,"
I watched Blake closely wondering what his reaction would be. He turned towards me and looked down into my eyes.
"Are you alright with this Marley?" he asked. "I don't want to get punched,"
"I’m ok with it," I told him shrugging. He smirked and leaned in closer.
"I knew you wouldn't always be able to resist me' he whispered before planting his lips on mine. I instantly kissed him back, everything became intense quickly and soon my arms were wrapped around his neck pulling him closer. For some unknown reason it felt good kissing him, because i knew that he knew all my bad points and excepted them. He didn't look at me or treat me differently when he found out what I had been through. He just decided that he would help me through it.
After a few minutes we were both out of breath so I pulled back, my cheeks heating up when i noticed everyone watching us with open mouths,
"We dared you to kiss not almost jump each other!" Someone shouted breaking the horrible silence.
"Well that was interesting," Brody muttered from my other side.
"Shut up and continue with the game." I told them. "Please,"

After a few hours of sitting around talking and drinking everyone decided to move inside and head to bed. Tomorrow was going to be a big day. We were going on the Kingsley boat and boating out to some fancy island so that we could go scuba diving. I was really looking forward to it.
I am extra glad that it didn't seem to be awkward between Blake and I after our kiss. He had just been as friendly as always.
Right now the three of us, Blake, Brody and I were all laying in our beds. Brody is on his phone playing subway surf I think. Blake is texting someone on his phone. I couldn't help but watch the two of them. They were both similar in looks with there piecing eye and tanned skin. What surprised me most was that they didn't seem to care that they didn't have a girl with them right now. I thought that most good looking people were arrogant and self centred, like Xavier but these other boys actually seemed like reasonable guys.
"Are you going to keep goggling at us or are you going to turn the light off like we asked?" Brody's voice interrupted my thoughts. I looked between them to see both of them watching me with smiles on there faces.
"I wasn't goggling mealy glancing in your direction," I told him reaching up and turning the lights off before snuggling back under the covers.
"Sure you were. Night Marley, Night Blake,"
"Night Brody and Goodnight Blake," I whispered back.
'Night Marley," Blake whispered back.
A few seconds later I fell into a deep sleep.
"Wake up sleeping beauty!" Someone shouted before flicking the lights on. I groaned and pulled the covers over my head blocking away the light. I heard someone sigh and footsteps getting closer before the covers were pulled away and arms were wrapped around my waist. Brody chucked me over his shoulder and walked out of the room taking me in the direction of the kitchen. I could hear everyone talking and goofing around. A few of the girls I still didn't know looked to be cooking. Everyone else just sat around waiting.
