Chapter Twenty:
Rain plummeted down as we searched the ground and forest area. No one had dared to go inside even though we were all soaking wet. We were a family and we stuck together. Even Hunter with his very bad concussion had got up and was searching for his brother. All of our pain from wounds had taken back seat. The only thing we could focus on was Blake.
I felt very guilty, I hadn't even spared a second thought about where he was during the fight. That wasn't something a girl friend should do.
God if something has happened to him Ill never forgive myself.
"He's over here!" Brody finally called. I sprinted over dropping on the ground next to him. His face was pale. A knife was sticking out of his stomach, blood oozing out of it into a pool on the ground.
"Blake can you hear me?" I asked checking for pulse. He was even more soaked then us all. His lips were purple and I could physically see him shivering. Letting out a sigh of relief I felt his pulse, it might be weak but at least it was there. He's breaths were shallow as I grabbed his hand not sure what else to do.
"Your bleeding," He crocked, coughing violently.
"Don't waste your energy. I'm fine alright," Small tears fall down his face mixing with the rain.
"If I don't make it-" he started but I cut it off.
"Don't start!" I growled holding my finger to his lips.
"Listen," he ordered slowly turning to look at me. The rain continued to thunder down making it hard to hear. "Don't go looking for trouble. Just stay safe alright, no matter what,"'
"Stop talking like your not going to make it," I sobbed looking to the boys for help. They all held the same expression. Sadness. 'Get a stretcher Now!" I yelled. A few of them ran off probably glad that i was getting them to do something.
"Marley," He whispered. Opening his eyes to look at me. Pain was evident in them. "I've loved you from the first day I meet you, you are so beautiful and strong I'll always be with you in-" He stopped as he began to cough up blood.
A few people I had never seen ran over with a stretcher and lifted him onto. A woman that I guessed was in charge started ordering the other people to hold pressure in places. An oxygen mask was placed over his face as they ran him into the infirmary. I didn't even get a chance to say I love you back before he was whisked away into surgery.

I waited hours, days and weeks for him to wake up. The doctor said he was in coma and would wake up when he was ready but he never did. At the start people visitied him everyday, bring flowers and cards they tried to get me to go to my own room but it never worked. Staying here was the only thing I did. I ate with him, talked with him and slept next to him everyday. Blake just stayed asleep in the bed looking as pale as the sheets. Everyone else that had been injured was alright. There was a total of two deaths from people on our side. A funeral was held, they were mourned but everyone got over it and moved on. I couldn't. No matter what I did I knew as long as he was still in this bed and my father was still out there nothing would be ok.
"Ok this has been going on long enough. Get up and get out of this bed!" Xavier instructed opening the door and walking in marching towards me. I didn't talk to him just like I hadn't talked to anyone since the fight.
"I'm not going to let you keep moping around. What do you thing Blake would say if he was here," Narrowing my eyes at him I clenched my fist. No one had brought up him around me. They knew it was a sore topic. "He wouldn't want you to keep crying over him, he would tell you to get up and stay strong."
