YouTube Hunger Games

"Strawburry17" The name echoed in the microphone.

"Strawburry17? Is Strawburry17 here?"

I sat there still and quiet. In complete and utter shock. I looked up at the stage where the creators of YouTube stood and looked back at my feet. I felt a tear stream down my face.

This was actually happening. My name was actually being called. I was actually participating in the 1st ever YouTube Hunger Games.

Cat put her arm around me pulling me into a side hug. I didn't hug back.

"Strawburry17" The voice repeated.

I took a deep breath and walked to the stage. Another year streamed down my face. When I made it to the stage Luke gave me a hug. He was the first to be called. I scanned the other YouTubers waiting to be called or to be safe.

The creators reached back into the sea of usernames. 22 more tributes to be called.

"JoeyGraceffa" the creator announced.

My eyes scanned the Group of YouTubers once more until Joey caught my eye. He stood there looking helpless. In shock. Afraid. He just stood there, just like I did. Joey started walking to the stage and the creators dug into the sea of usernames again. 21 more to go.
