Chapter 11: Breakfast Chaos

Ayako's POV (Kinda)

I started eating my French Toast and Ofcourse wanting to be polite I used the fork and knife to cut it properly. Once it was in pieces I poked one and opened my mouth to eat it

"AYACHIIIIII!!!!!!"

I was halfway through eating it when I saw Kise-Kun running towards me at an abnormal speed and the first thing I did was grabbed my mug and plate and moved to the another seat

I winced and looked to the side and saw Akashi flinch a bit and turned around to glare at Kise  but retuned back to the game when he saw me looking at him ears tuning pink a bit

'... Maybe he wa-'

I was cut of from my thoughts when I felt a force at my back squishing me causing me to almost tumble forward

"Ayachii~ Ohayou!" Kise glomped me hugging me hard from behind as he put his head on top of my head

"K-Kise! C-Can't B-Breath!!" By now my face was turning red from the lack of oxygen

"A-Ah! G-Gomen!!" He released me almost fainting when he heard me say his name

I tried to catch my breath and clutched my chest. While
Kise was keeping himself from screeching that I called his name. Once I was calm I looked at Kise face still red from the event

"Kise! What was that for?!"

"AHHHH! Ayachii!!!!! Gomen I won't do it again!" He had crocodile tears forming from his eyes he placed his hands together in front of his chest and Damn! He looked like a cute puppy! I couldn't resist!!

"Aww!!! It's okay Kise just don't do it again!!" I wrapped my arms around his neck and and crouched him down to my level and hugged him rubbing my cheek to his

By now Aomine and Imayoshi have entered the dinning room and seeing you hugging Kise was not a sight they want to see when they wake up in the morning and even more Kise was a blushing mess! They were traumatized by the sight and just stood there at the entrance

"Kise!! That's just too cute!!! You looked like a puppy!!" You stopped hugging him and looked at his chocolate brown eyes. Your eyes were Sparkling brightly as you pulled his face dangerously close as you ruffled his hair

That was the last string for Aomine.

"OI!!! KINPATSU WHT ARE YOU DOING SO EARLY HUHHH?!" He shouted Mock clearly visible in his voice

"E-EHH?! I w-was just t-talking to
A-Ayachii t-that's all!" He waved his hands in front of his face embarrassed and cupped his cheeks to remove the blush

I went back to my seat now and chewed on my bread watching the two bicker back and forth as if it's like a movie and didn't notice Imayoshi coming my way until he spoke.

"Ohayou" he said ever-so-calmly sitting on the chair beside me

"Ah! Ohayou Imayoshi-San" i flashed a smile at him before continuing with my meal

"Drop the 'San' after all we came here not just to train but to make friends to so drop the formalities"
He also flashed a smile at you before watching the two argue

"Hai....." Ever since you talked to him you felt calm for some reason.... Maybe it's his voice? I mean it does sound calm and soothing

"Talking to you makes me calm down somehow" you blurted out your thoughts looking at him and his surprised expression well only his eyes were wide so that means he was surprised

"A lot of people say that but others say I'm a scary captain and can get a little to cocky" he looked at you too also feeling calm as he talked to you but he wouldn't admit it

You giggled at the last statement
Leaving the captain to blush at your soothing voice and in embarrassment but it was only faint and not visible

'W-What?! Why am I blushing?!" He thought staring at you as he took in your features but what caught him most was your eyes the rare shade of blue shimmering in the sun

"Imayoshi-Kun?"

I caught him keeping utterly silent for a while and saw him staring into my eyes. Sure it's okay for people to stare at my eyes but sometimes it gets uncomfortable for people to stare too long after all they say it's a rare shade of blue but they just couldn't find what was so mesmerizing about it

"H-Hai?" He snapped out of his daze

"Are you hungry?" You look infront of the table he was leaning in and noticed he hadn't had breakfast yet

"No......" His stomach grumbled making his statement disbelieving but he stayed ever so calm and just smiled

"A-Actually I am quite hungry.... I'll go make some food" he stood up from his chair and went to the kitchen me trailing behind him

"Can I Help? I already finished my food anyway" you stood next to him from the kitchen counter

"Okay If that's no problem" If you could describe him in one word
Gentlemen except on basketball  of course from what I have heard from Hanamiya he had a bad attitude an that's something coming from him

"So...... What are we making? Anything you like?" You stared at him patiently waiting for an answer

"Grilled eel over rice..." he
muttered barely audible

"Pardon?" You couldn't quite catch what he said

"Grilled eel over rice" he hesitated but spoke more clearly

"Oh! Okay that's easy we just need some......" He seemed taken a back but smiled warmly a blush tainting his cheeks

You two started working together chatting along the way you were about to grab knife when his hand brushed against yours making you blush a bit.

"S-Sorry" you said quickly apologized and returned to what you were doing

After making his meal you decided to make a meal for Kise-Kun and Aomine-Kun seeing as they won't stop fighting soon. You made the teriyaki burger for Aomine because it seemed like the more difficult one and you insisted and Imayoshi-Kun made onion gratin soup for Kise.

Imayoshi's POV

When I saw her this morning I thought she was beautiful when the sunlight passes through the windows and shine on her face revealing her blue eyes that seemed to shine brighter. She wasn't spontaneous at times only when necessary that's why she was respectful on my decisions and patient when answering, she seemed cooperative when I was talking and not interrupting.

My type of girl.

One that Aomine doesn't deserve

One that no one deserves.

And here goes my cocky attitude again. I chuckled and went back to chopping the onions. Ayako noticed that I chuckled but shrugged it off a smile gracing on her face as I said
