Chapter 14: Why her?

Ayako's POV

I snapped out of my thoughts and turned my head back to Aomine and....... Wait...... Just a second, did I see him just smiling? Or was the that my imagination?

"Ne.... Aomine-Kun? Are you sure you're not okay?"

He looked at me an annoyed expression on his face but it was kinda obvious he was hiding something

"E-Eh?! What do you think Ofcourse I'm not okay!!"

He stuttered out loud. I was suspicious of him, who wouldn't? He shouted that out loud for goodness sake! He should know that his condition right now isn't good. And besides someone unhealthy wouldn't do that or is he?

"Oh! Real-"

"Ne~ Ne~ Hime-chin!"

I was about to ask him when I was interrupted when I suddenly felt I was being lifted in the air by a pair of big arms though it wasn't really being lifted more like someone was hugging me with a big pair of arms around my waist landing his chin on my head.

"Ohayou! Hime-chin~!"

Only one person would prolong his word like that.

"Oh! Mura-chin! You're awake now"

I said surprised because I didn't expect him to come in the middle of our conversation yet alone Murasakibara and He was hugging me a bit too tightly around my waist as if his protective switch turned on because he was glaring at everybody with a lazy expression on his face which made it a bit scarier.

"I'm awake too you know"

Himuro came in front because he was at the back of Murasakibara and smiled. But it didn't seem he noticed that Murasakibara was hugging me because he was smiling with his eyes closed.

"Ah..... -"

There, Himuro's tone change to a hint of annoyance and there was a tick mark appearing on his forehead when he opened his eyes and noticed what was happening in front of him.

"-and Murasakibara can you put down Ayako now please?"

He said with an too obvious annoyed tone. What was he annoyed about? Is it because Mura-chin is hugging me? Well if that annoys him maybe I should tell Mura-chin to put me down he could've just said so if that concerns him.

"Ne, Mura-chin, Himuro-chin is right can you put me down now?"

I told Mura-chin of. Though
Mura-chin did frown a bit and he glared at Himuro for a bit before casually going back to his lazy face.

"Okay~ Only for you Hime-chin~"

Mura-chin finally put me down gently back to my seat. But when I sat down I thought that there was one thing I didn't understand which is...

'Only for you'

He was just putting me down he didn't have to say that. Anyways I suspected Aomine is fine because he was all healthy when Mura-chin was hugging me. Wait, I almost forgot about Himuro-chin

"Ohayou Himuro-chin good to see your awake"

I returned his closed eye smile with my own. But for now, I should escape this chaos before anything chaotic happens again.

3rd Person's POV

"Ayako. Sit down. I know what you're thinking."

Akashi commanded when Ayako let her guard down with her own emperor eye. Akashi didn't know she had one, yet, it's just he couldn't just sit still just watching the scene that was happening in front of him.

"Is this what you call jealousy?"

The Emperor thought. Ofcourse he knew the answer to the question. Yes it is what you call jealousy. It's just that he was confused since he had never experienced this kind of feeling before. Because he never experienced the indescribable feeling we call 'Love'.

'Why does it have to happen now?
Why did it happen just now?'

He unconsciously thought to himself as if the question just popped out of his head. Why did it?

Ayako Himari. Why her? out of all the people in the world why her?In his eyes just a glance when he looks at her he can see the answer to everything.

Starting from her hair that reaches the bottom of her back

Her rare shade of mesmerizing blue eyes

Her small yet tall cute nose

Her soft pink lips

Her angelic voice

Her mysterious yet fun character

Her contagious smile

Everything

Starting from top to bottom, physically and mentally, everything. He didn't need to ask why her. After all Akashi knew everything and the answers to everything so why not?

If this was the girl that made him step out I his box, Why not?

If this was the girl that made his heart flutter whenever she spoke to him, Why not?

If this was the girl that made him feel the feeling he had just now, Why not?

If this was the girl that made him fall in love, Why not?

But what he didn't know is that everybody was thinking the same thing as he is.

"I'm just going to the kitchen. I needed something to drink and besides don't want any of you burning the kitchen down you might need some help"

Ayako came up with an excuse so she wouldn't be found out. She shouldn't have let her guard down
Or else they might know
What she is thinking. Before anyone else was about to ask to come with her she left the place to the kitchen unaware of what was happening.

They were in love with her. They just need to make her realize it. She is too oblivious for her own good.

It's time to make their first moves into winning her heart. After all she is a hard fish to catch.

A/N: Hey! Everybody! Once again saying sorry for the late update. But anyway hope you liked the chapter and sorry if you thought it was too short and everything.

Took time to write this even though I wrote it so slowly I always spelled kitchen as chicken and then I'd correct it later (so stupid)
