Chapter 5: Announcement

Kaijō's POV

Coach Takeuchi just received a phone call from Riko saying that the player accepted he had a big smile on his face.

"Ne Kasamatsu-senpai who do you think coach is talking to?" Kise said while he slowed down from jogging. "I don't know but he seems happy....... AND GET BACK TO WORK KINPATSU!!" Kasamatsu shouted "H-HAI!!"

"Everyone ANNOUNCEMENT" Coach Takeuchi shouted gaining the attention of the team "Train harder so we can show the WNBA Player what our school is made of and she will hopefully join or school!" He shouted while everyone looked at him with wide eyes

"Wait does that mean...." Kise asked "YOSHHAAA!!!! IM GETTING FIRED UP" Mitsuhiro Hayakawa Kaijō's Power foward shouted "URASAI!! YOU BAKA" Kasamatsu shouted while having a stare off "Yes that means she accepted our offer for the training camp" coach replied

Shinya Nakamura Kaijō's shooting guard sighed "Even though he says that they act the same *sigh* wait coach did you say she?" He asked the coach "Hai it's a girl but I don't know the name"

Tōō POV

"Dai-kun!" Momoi shouted to her childhood friend who finally started go to club after the winter high "What?!" Aomine said annoyed "Do you think we'll ever see Himari-chan again?" She asked "Himari-chan?" Aomine asked cluelessly "The girl we saw at the store!" Momoi shouted
"P-Probably s-she seems to k-know b-basketball" he said with a visible blush in his cheeks 'I hope to see her again'

"Awwww Dai-kun is in love!" Momoi cooed "URASAI!" Aomine shouted with a blush. While Shoichi Imayoshi Former captain of Tōō just chuckled and remembered the announcement.

"Everyone I would like to inform you that the WNBA player agreed to come in the training camp" Imayoshi paused before looking at Aomine dangerously "and yes it's a girl" he finished his sentence while Aomine just smirked "Don't worry captain I won't do anything stupid" he said while momoi screamed saying "KYAAAHH ITS ANOTHER GIRL" and started planning for shopping and sleepovers while all of them ignore this "Now let's show them what were made of" Kōsuke Wakamatsu Tōō center said while cracking his knuckles "Lets do this" Yoshinori Susa small forward said "H-hai" Ryō Sakurai shooting guard stuttered.

Shūtoku POV

*Swoosh* Midorima Shintarō Made one last shot before pushing up his glasses when a sudden picture of the girl came back to his mind he just shook his head with a light blush 'why am I thinking about her right now?' He thought while shrugging it off "Shin-chan!" Takao yelled "What?!" Midorima said irritated by his nickname "Have you heard that the WNBA player was coming" Takao said ignoring Midorima's death glares "He was?" Midorima asked Takao

"Well it's mostly she" Kiyoshi Miyaji small forward said entering the gym only to land face flat after tripping on Midorima's lucky item which was a 80 pound raccoon
"OI! MIDORIMA DONT GO AROUND LEAVING YOUR LUCKY ITEM LIKE THAT! GIVE ME A PINEAPPLE SO I CAN HIT YOU IN THE HEAD" Miyaji said standing up from his fall "Senpai! What are you doing here?!" Takao asked ignoring the rants Miyaji was giving Midorima "tch! Since us senpai's participated in the winter cup we're joining the training camp" he replied annoyed that they just ignored him.

"Continuing on our conversation what do you mean she?" Midorima asked scoring another 3 pointer "They said that the player was a girl but I wasn't sure of the name" Taisuke Ōtsubo center said while coming in the gym "I know it's interesting" Shinsuke Kimura power forward said calmly walking in the gym "let's see what's she has got and we will show her what we've got" Midorima said scoring a three pointer while remembering the girl he just met 'Himari Ayako' *Swoosh*

Yōsen POV

Everyone watched as Coach Araki was giving an announcement while Murasakibara was just eating chips "Isn't that a New flavor of pocky ?" Tatsuya asked Murasakibara while the whole team looked at the duo
"It's the *munch* flavor that *munch* Hime-chin *munch* was eating *munch*" he answered "Hime-chin?"  Wei Liu small forward asked him

Coach Araki cleared her Throat "continuing my announcement the player has accepted our offer so let's do well in the training camp to show her our skills" coach Araki continued "A girl?" Kensuke Fukui Point guard asked "Yes a girl are you underestimating us girls?" Coach Araki asked dangerously while glaring at Fukui "WAHHHH WHY DO THEY ALWAYS GET THE GIRLS?!" Kenichi Okamura power forward complained loudly ignoring Fukui and Araki "Whether your a basketball player or not your still infamous" Kensuke Fukui said stated straightforwardly which made him cry louder "Ne~ I wonder if Hime-chin will be coming~" Muraskibara hoped not caring about his teammate which made Okamura cry even louder.

Himuro Tatsuya shooting guard sighed at his teammates when he remembered the girl he met before with a light blush 'i want to see her again'

Rakuzan POV

The red head captain was playing shogi at the bench while the coach was announcing about the player he didn't mind about it because he already knew about it because he is the absolute.

Reo Mibuchi Shooting guard approached the red haired captain and asked "Captain what do you think of the player being a girl" he asked "I would rather not underestimate them" Akashi answered not removing his eyes from the shogi board 'especially that Ayako girl' he thought while smirking.

"Akashi is right we shouldn't underestimate them especially the girl we saw at the restaurant" Kotarō Hayama small forward stated as he remembered the girl he saw at the restaurant 'especially  not her' he thought "I'm Going to show her my muscle dunk!" Ekichi Nebuya Center shouted while doing his infamous muscle pose "That wouldn't help at all" Chihiro Mayuzumi power forward Stated emotionlessly appearing behind him suddenly. "What are you guys doing here your supposed to be training" Akashi commanded threateningly instead of questioned "H-HAI!" Then they went back to training scared of their captain. Akashi sighed and thought 'we will be seeing you Himari Ayako'
