'It wasn't supposed to be like this' Astrid thinks as she waits for Hiccup to come out of Gothi's hut. She is changing his bandages. Astrid doesn't know what to do to change them and Gothi doesn't trust Hiccup to do it right.

But she thinks how hard it will be to make him open up again.

Then it occurs to her: Am I like this to him? Closed up and thinks I don't need help? She promises herself that once she gets Hiccup out of his shell, she will try her best not to go back into hers.

When she hears the door open, she turns around and sees Hiccup adjusting his armor. He ha told her it was a pain to put on.

"Hey." She says smiling. He smiles back at her.

She wants to punch him.

Thinking she can't tell that he is doing that just for her sake.

"Wanna go flying?"

She had resisted the urge to punch him and hoped it would lift his spirits.

"Um... okay." That worries Astrid.

'Why?' You may ask.

He hesitated.

He never hesitates to go flying. But she lets it slide. At least she got him to come.

They get their dragons and take off into the sky. Astrid can see that this does help Hiccup relax.

They fly around Berk, absorbing the scenery.

Hoping there will be a better tomorrow.

Okay.

I know it was short.

But I don't care.

But honestly...

That was the last chapter.

I know it was like, what...

8 chapters?

But I have more books ideas coming.

I keep reading books and watching TV shows and watching movies.

I have a whole list of ones I want to do.

Sorry again.

Chikas out!
