The Darkest Time (Sequel to Love is War)

"What were you thinking!"

Tuffnut and Ruffnut look down in shame. After Hiccup caught them and chewed them out, Astrid came back while they were fixing the house that they made a giant hole in. She decided to chew them out also.

Snotlout looks ashamed for agreeing to the twins stupid idea. He hates peer pressure. He knows that Hiccup is under a lot of stress. And considering that they just got him back from Alvin, Hiccup has been paranoid that he is going to come back. And really, you can't blame him. Astrid had mentioned that it was too easy.

But they put that thought in to the back of their minds for now. They had other things to worry about at the moment.

Like the two nitwits that seem to be deaf.

"I have told you before how stressed Hiccup was! But apparently, you are all nitwits and decide that you don't need to listen to anyone! I thought that you would listen to me when I told you. But you didn't and then to make it worse, you deliberately disobeyed Hiccup. He already has so much to do! And you to just can't follow the simplest orders!"

They don't say anything. They just keep their heads down. Fishlegs awkwardly stands to the side. Astrid had told him to follow her and to not ask any questions.

He decided to stay quiet because when she came to him, she was fuming. He didn't want to tick her off more than she already was.

She took deep breath to try and calm down. She looked at the twins and spoke again. 

"Look. I know gathering sheep can get boring for you two. I know you love to be reckless and things to go crazy which leads to everybody going crazy. But when I ask you to do something, I mean for you to do it right, not just find another destructive way to do it."

And with that, she walks away, leaving the others to hopefully finish the house, and trusting that they won't blow it up.

By accident or on purpose.

They all know that Hiccup is under a lot of stress. And with them making another mess that he has to deal with, it won't get any easier. 

They just have to hope that they won't go too far.

They also have to pray to Thor that Alvin was just being really stupid when they got Hiccup back and just didn't see them leave with Hiccup.

If this is just part of his plan...

Pray to Thor that they will be alright.
