For the Better

Author's Note (MUST READ)

Hey guys, I don't know if any of you have been wondering where I've been since I haven't updated since Christmas and I'm not that popular...but I haven't given up on the story. It's a long story of what happened, and I'm not a good summarizer so I have no idea how long this will be...

Okay, so what happened was I got in trouble or "in trouble" at the beginning of January and my parents decided to take my phone away (and every other device I owned) for five weeks.

After the five weeks, I got my phone back (not anything else) but it was completely blocked. The only thing I could do was call, text, use my alarm clock, look at my pictures, and write notes. Everything else had parental lock.

I had a iPhone 5s and I couldn't do anything on it. I couldn't go on the Internet, take pictures, or download any apps. My parents said they would know if I did anything. They said I lost all of their trust and if I listened to what they said I would slowly earn their trust back.

So eventually over the summer I changed my schedule with my parents (they're divorced) and I had school starting soon, and I play sports for my school (aha funny because no one expects a bookworm to be athletic) so my mom convinced my dad to give me my laptop back. (what was taken away at the beginning was my phone, my laptop, my kindle fire, and my tablet)

Soon after I got my laptop back, I talked to my dad and got my phone unlocked. He practically said that I could do anything as long as it is appropriate (I can't have any social media though because my parents still think I can't handle it but bruh if I could handle my effed up schedule since I was 4 I think I can handle social media ✋🏻), but I'm a good kid and I'm not an idiot 😂 he sometimes treats me like I'm a drug addict.

I didn't think of being able to get my wattpad back for about 2-3 weeks after getting my phone back. I couldn't access my account because I must've forgotten the password and whenever I sent an email to reset my password I would never get it so I was confused. I spent what felt like forever looking up what to do because I LOVE wattpad.

Finally about 2 weeks ago I read on my laptop to check the "spam" section in your email because it might be there...yup, it was and oh how stupid I felt. I was able to recover my wattpad with happiness but I've been really busy with school, volleyball, and softball that I haven't updated 😰 I'm working on it, I promise.

If any of you have any questions or anything, just ask away. Maybe you will, maybe you won't, maybe no one will read this ahah but it would be great or me to know that you all know what happened and that the actual story part of "For The Better" will be updated as soon as I can get my brain to work on the story. I've also been thinking about writing a new story, what do you think? 🌚 thank you all for reading my story in the first place because it means a lot to me 💕
