Chapter 5

Aura Fae

The group followed the man from earlier, Jameson down a narrow hallway, the walls were made of steel the floors of stone.

"It's not the nicest place." Opal whispered to Aura.

Aura shrugged. "I don't really care how it looks. It is cold though." She complained.

Warren ran up beside Aura. "Slow down." He said out of breath.

"Speed up." Aura laughed.

"Very funny. Hey, where are we going?" He asked Jameson.

"We're going to drop the girls off at they're dorm then I'll take you to yours." Jameson explained.

Warren gave the girls a sad look. "I don't want to be alone." He mouthed.

"I'm sorry." The girls mouthed back.

Jameson stopped in front of a steel door. "Ladies, you'll be staying here. Get settled in, your classes start tomorrow. Here are your schedules." He handed them both a slip of paper. He walked down the hall but turned to face the girls. "Oh and don't kill any of the other students." Then he walked away with Warren in tow.

"See you later, guys." Warren waved.

"Agent Jameson seems nice." Opal said looking at her paper.

"He seems kinda boring." Aura said opening the door to the dorm and walking in. Opal followed. They walked into a fairly big hallway, the walls were gray and the floor was stone, same as the hall. There were doors on either side of the hall.

"We're in room twenty." Opal stated looking at her paper.

"And it says we have a roommate. Peachy." Aura said walking down the hall.

"How's your ribs?" Opal asked.

"They hurt like hell, but I can deal."

"Do you think they have someone who could give you something?" Opal asked.

"Probably, but I don't want to deal with people other that you and Warren." Aura complained.

"Aww, that's sweet." Opal joked.

The girls walked up to a room labeled twenty. "This is the place." Aura said opening the door. The room was fairly big with three beds on each wall excluding the one with the door, the wall left of the door was pink the others white. Aura looked around the room and noticed a girl about their age, maybe a year younger, sitting on the bed against the pink wall. Great, pink. Aura thought. The girl wasn't tall but she wasn't short, she was wearing a gray nightgown. She was quite pretty, her hair was in a blonde ponytail and her eyes were a deep blue.

The girl got off her bed and walked over to the girls. She extended her hand towards Opal. "You must be my new roommates." She said in a crisp British accent.

Opal shook her hand. "I'm Opal Jake, this is Aura Fae." She pointed towards Aura, Aura waved.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Evie, Evie Carlisle. So, what are your powers? Mine is healing."

"I have x-ray vision, and Aura can read people's minds and teleport." Opal explained setting her stuff down on the bed right of the door.

"You have two powers!" Evie exclaimed.

"Yea, what is that a big deal?" Aura asked.

"There are only two other people here with two powers and they are possibly the biggest jerks ever." Evie stated.
