Caged Away
I locked myself away, afraid of the evil noise in the world
Since the silence never told a lie, never told a secret
Although it had a trick up its sleeve making my mind whirl
Locked away in a cage drives me mad, not a treatment
Even the silence has its own evil dark side
I'm caged away in the darkness of my mind like an eternal tomb
Gasping for air in a vacuum of sadness and despair
Praying not for the light, but for a blissful doom
Since I'm far too broken to be fixed, my heart beyond repair
