Someone came to see me today
couldn't remember their name
talked about me and them
all the games we use to play
Someone came to see me today
couldn't remember their name
Left pictures of children in a lovely frame
Someone came to see me today
couldn't remember their name
I found myself smiling
We were very much one of the same
Someone came to see me today
couldn't remember their name
said she's my daughter
I felt ashamed
My daughter came to see me today
didn't remember her name
She smiled and said
I love you all the same.
