Taylor had a week off from her 1989 world tour and she was so exhausted and tired. No matter how tired she was, she was determined to spend that time with her family and with Adam. Her parents and her brother Austin were in Nashville so she and Adam had flew there from LA.

Taylor and Adam got out of their car and walked to the front door in peace. It was great not having paparazzi following them everywhere in Nashville. Instead of just holding hands like they usually did in public, Adam put his arm around Taylor's shoulders. Taylor smiled up at him and he smiled back down at her. She knocked on the door then stepped back and waited for a response. Austin opened the door

"Hey guys." Austin said excitedly before hugging Taylor. Taylor was too exhausted to reply so she just smiled.

"Hi Austin. How are you?" Adam asked as he gave Austin a quick man hug.

"Good thanks, how are you two?" Austin asked while they all began to walk inside towards the kitchen. Adam had his arm back around Taylor and she was leaning her head on his shoulder sleepily.

"We're good too." Adam answered everything because he knew how tired Taylor was. Andrea and Scott were both in the kitchen when they walked in.

"Hello!" Andrea and Scott said in sync enthusiastically.

"Hi!" Taylor finally spoke, pulling away from Adam to hug both of her parents.

"Nice to see you." Adam said hugging Andrea then shaking Scott's hand. Adam and Taylor had been dating for a while so Adam knew her family really well.

"You too." Scott answered.

"Taylor honey, you look horribly tired! Are you alright?" Andrea asked concerned.

"Yeah, I'm just exhausted from the tour." Taylor and Andrea chatted while Adam, Austin and Scott all caught up. After about 10 minutes Andrea checked the dinner.

"Dinner is ready everyone!" Andrea called. Everyone made their way to the table in the dining room and Adam and Taylor sat next to each other. Adam looked over at Taylor and was instantly reminded of how tired she was just by looking at her. He frowned and put his hand on her thigh. She smiled at him, trying to convince him that she was fine.

Andrea placed the food on the table and everyone began to eat.

"This is great sweetie." said Scott complimented Andrea

"Yeah, it is." Taylor said while Adam and Austin nodded.

"Thanks everyone." Andrea answered.

They all chatted and laughed throughout dinner. After dinner Andrea, Scott and Austin headed to the living room to choose what movie they were going to watch. Adam held his hand out to Taylor which she gladly took and smiled.

"I love you so much." She whispered as they began walking towards the living room. Adam suddenly stopped her, put his arms on her waist and kissed her passionately. He pulled away then stared into her eyes.

"I love you too." He promised. She smiled then they went to join everyone else with their arms around each other.

"OK so Scott and Austin want to watch The Hobbit but I would much prefer watching The Notebook." Andrea filled Taylor and Adam in.

"Who would want to watch The Notebook over The Hobbit?" Austin asked sarcastically

"Me!" Taylor replied. Adam laughed because they were arguing like they were little kids again.

"So it's all up to Adam then." Scott said "Which do you want to watch Adam?"

"That's not fair! He's obviously going to want to watch The Hobbit." Andrea complained.

"Exactly! Plus, Adam's the only person left. He has to choose." Austin said laughing. Adam continued laughing too. Andrea sighed thinking she was going to have to watch The Hobbit.

"It's okay Mum, I'll sort this out." Taylor said slyly. Everyone stared at Taylor confused.

"Oh will you now?" Adam questioned.

She sighed looking at the floor. She then looked up at Adam and stood on her tip toes.

"Baby, if you choose The Notebook, I promise we will have some fun tonight, if you know what I mean." She whispered in his ear so quietly that it was inaudible to her family. She knew that he wouldn't be able to resist this. Adam looked at Taylor.

"Promise?" he whispered back to her and she nodded grinning. "You know I think I want to watch The Notebook." Adam said to everyone else.

"Taylor Alison Swift what did you say to him?" Austin asked. Taylor and Adam just laughed with each other.

"I don't care what she said, we're watching The Notebook!" Andrea said excited. "Thank you Taylor."

"Fine then." Scott and Austin finally agreed.

Andrea went to set up the movie. Adam sat on the sofa and gently pulled Taylor down with him. Taylor snuggled up to him and he wrapped his arm around her. They all watched The Notebook together. Somehow Taylor managed to stay awake throughout the whole movie, despite how tired she was. Though by the time it was finished she was barely awake.

"Does anyone want to play cards?" Austin asked because it was still quite early and it was kind of a family tradition.

"Yeah I'll play." Scott answered.

"I will too." Andrea added.

"Taylor do you want to play cards or go to bed? You look so tired." Adam asked Taylor.

"No it's fine. I will just watch you all play." Taylor replied.

"Alright then, let's play." Adam said.

They were all still sitting on the sofas in the living room that were all surrounding a coffee table. Taylor was still cuddled up to Adam, leaning her head on his shoulder. When Austin came back with the cards and they started playing. Taylor watched them play, curled up next to Adam for about 5 minutes before she fell asleep on him. Adam didn't mind at all so they all continued play for about another 15 minutes until the game ended.

"Well, I better take this one to bed." Adam whispered playing with Taylor's hair.

"OK, see you in the morning." Andrea whispered back and Scott just waved smiling. He liked how Adam treated Taylor.

"Goodnight." Austin said as everyone headed to their rooms.

Adam carefully picked Taylor up bridal style and carried her upstairs. He placed her on the bed in the guest bedroom where they were going to stay for the next couple of nights. He then sat beside her on the edge of the bed.

"Taylor," Adam shook her gently, "Are you going to get changed or do I have to do it for you?" he spoke in a whisper while laughing. Taylor opened her eyes slowly.

"No, it is okay, I'll get up." She answered quietly. Adam pecked her on the lips then went to get ready for bed. When he came back she was already in her pajamas and in bed. He climbed in next to her, kissed her head then wrapped his arms around her. Taylor suddenly remembered her promise.

"Babe what about what I promised you earlier?" Taylor asked. By this point she was already half asleep again.

"No Taylor, its fine. You need to get some sleep." He laughed pecking her head again. She loved the way he laughed.

"Thanks babe. I will make it up to you. I love you." She said smiling.

"I love you too." He answered.
